Given all the potential that Pinterest can offer in terms of attracting highly qualified readers and leads for nearly every niche you can think of, you'd think that Pinterest would be a great fit for e-commerce, right?
If this were true, you'd see all types of e-commerce brands and products using Pinterest as their number one driver of traffic. And, more importantly, generating more revenue.
However, this is not the case.
The truth is, Pinterest is not a good fit for e-commerce stores if you continue to do what everyone else is doing.
Right now, most e-com stores are pinning your product images to Pinterest or even sending Pinterest users to a product listing directly from Pinterest.
If this sounds familiar, you're probably wasting your time as it's pretty much like throwing mud against a wall and hoping something sticks.
It's this approach that makes Pinterest a bad fit for e-commerce stores.

Creating a podcast has been something I have been wanting to do for a while. As you’ll discover in this episode, I love the challenges and opportunities that arise as an entrepreneur, which is part of the reason for wanting to create a podcast about Pinterest Marketing for business.
As the founder of Pin and Grow we quickly became a six-figure Pinterest Marketing agency. In fact, it took less than 9 months for this to happen.
With that being said, I did not want this podcast to just be about Pinterest marketing because I believe this is just one piece of the bigger picture of a successful business.
**As I mention in this opening episode I have come to realize that starting, growing, and scaling a business is less about the tactics and more about who the person behind the business tactics is being.
