"Defunding the Police" is a slogan that supports divesting funds from police department and reallocating them to non-policing forms of public safety and community support such as social services, youth services, housing, healthcare and other community resources. This episode with give you insights about the factors that contrinutes to some of the violence that occurs in certain communities abnd what are the initiatives that are taking place in order to put back the trust of community people towards law-enforcement officers.
