This week's episode is from our own C. Marie. She shares her experience and story of having an absent parent. This eye-opening story gives insight into the first-party perspective that is often told from an involved parent's point of view. C. Marie also shares how she created a relationship with her parent in her adulthood on her own terms. This is a powerful episode that I am thankful we are able to share. Leave your thoughts, comments, ideas, and your own personal stories. Listen. Share. Subscribe. It's back to school time! I can't believe this time has already come so quickly! It has been a short summer. As our kids head back to school we have an episode from our archive about failing. I don't think any parent assumes their child will fail any class however it happens. How can we recognize the signs and support our children and sometimes ourselves as we get back up from our failure? This month our guest shares her experience of failing out of a university and finding herself through her failure.

Leave your thoughts, comments, ideas, and your own personal stories. We would love to read them. Also, be sure to follow us on Instagram @hertribe.community.

Or possibly the opposite, you are currently sitting in a position in life and you have no idea how you are going to make it out. You wish if nothing else, you had another woman that could relate to your current experience to help you along the way.
