Muna Al Harbi’s story is a story of hope.

Muna has Multiple Sclerosis (MS), which can be debilitating and give many a reason to lose hope.

She has a young family and a husband, all of whom have been part of her journey.

However, rather than become a victim, Muna has used her story to become an inspiration to others. 

Muna has transformed her life and now speaks as a life coach inspiring others on how to overcome setbacks, challenges and how to continue to live life to its potential. 

In this series, we will hear about Muna’s story and the importance of always keep moving forward.

Muna speaks to several doctors and nurses, who specialise in MS and will seek to inform others on the background of the disease, what to expect when you meet with the medical practitioners and how you and your family can best live with Multiple Sclerosis.

In the final episode of the series, Muna is joined by Dr Bassem Yamout,

Professor of Neurology at the American University of Beirut Medical Center and Director of Neurology Institute at Harley Street Medical Center in Abu Dhabi.

The episode will focus on managing and treating the disease, the evolution of treatments and what is possible with future treatments.

The fourth episode of MS Talks explores the impact the disease has on the family when someone is diagnosed with MS.

It looks at the impact of caregivers, and share tips and advice for people living around MS patients.

Joining Muna on this episode are nurses Asma Ahmed and Joelle Massouh.

Asma has a bachelor of science degree in nursing and Joelle is currently the Clinical Manager of the

Neurology Institute and Multiple Sclerosis Centre at Harley Street Medical Centre in Abu Dhabi.

The episode gives an overview on the disease pathology, signs and symptoms, causes, diagnosis, types of MS, and who may be at risk.

Dr Inshasi is a Consultant Neurologist at Rashid Hospital, Dubai Health Authority (DHA), and Professor of Neurology at Dubai Medical College.

He developed and directs the MS clinic and has established the Dystonia clinic at Rashid Hospital
