JD is a church planter in Boston, Massachusetts who lives there with his family. JD has a very relational approach to ministry that I believe will help any believer take the weight of the world off of their shoulders when it comes to sharing Christ with their friends. JD also has a heart for creatives which is why we spend some time on this podcast talking about the importance of meeting those who don't think like us exactly where they're at.
Dan Blythe is the Global Youth Director of Alpha. Alpha is a worldwide curriculum-based approach to sharing the gospel with friends. Dan has a storied testimony of running from God, being led to Christ while on vacation in Australia, hearing a call to ministry, and fulfilling that call through local churches in England, Hillsong London, and the London Media Collective. We talk on this podcast about the state of student ministry in Europe, how the church should utilize social media, and how to share the gospel in a relational manner.
Britney Feickert is a competitive Olympic weightlifter, who has competed at the national level. She's a former collegiate athlete who now spends her time coaching men and women of all ages to live a robust life through diet, exercise, and seeing themselves and their bodies in a holistic manner. Her passion for pointing her young athletes to Jesus and teaching them to not worry about the shape of their body but rather to use their body as a tool to do incredible things.
This episode is not your typical episode here on the Rant. Heath and I are longtime friends that are having a fun conversation about conspiracy theories. Cameron Dominy is a graduate of the Cevro Institute in Prague focusing on Russian regime change from an agricultural perspective. In this episode, we take some time to look at the issues of Russia and Ukraine. This episode was recorded three weeks ago, so with a lot of change taking place, this provides a framework for this issue through a Christain worldview.
Dr. Peter Link serves as Associate Professor of Christian Studies. He received his Doctor of Philosophy in biblical studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and started teaching at CSU in 2012. His ministry and teaching focus is on the interpretation of the Old Testament, Hermeneutics, and Biblical Hebrew. He wants his students to know, first, that Moses and the Prophets wrote to them (and all of us) and, second, that they wrote to them (and all of us) about Jesus. His dissertation analyzed and interpreted Deut. 29-30, and his research remains focused on the interpretation of the Pentateuch. He is a regular leader of the College of Christian Studies’ quarterly EPIC Bible Study Teacher Training Sessions and has enjoyed preaching and serving in pulpit supply in multiple Lowcountry churches.
