what makes a masterpiece so beautiful,
isn’t the finished product
so much as it is
the acknowledgement of each individual stroke—
painted through joy or
painted through pain—
that carries an essence of its own,
which contributes to the greater picture.
when we learn to say thank you
and live in a state of gratitude
even when it's easier to fall victim to our circumstances—
that is spiritual practice.
we are all flowers in this garden of life...
each blooming differently, yet maintaining a unique sense of beauty.
a flower is most powerful when she blooms exactly as she is.
learn what love does and doesn't look like.
set your boundaries and hold them high.
apologize to yourself when you forget to enforce them.
learn how to forgive yourself for accepting abuse and being convinced it was love.

show up to the conversation,
even when you don't know how
because as long as you seek,
you will always be found.
reminder:
you deserve to be whole.
stop looking for a band aid for your broken heart.
take the time to heal the hurt.
you deserve to be cared for in the same way you care for others.
stop giving yourself the short end of the stick.
you are worthy of being whole.
when all feels lost—
i return back to nature
so she can teach me
how to return back to self

which lead us to find
the men we're stressing over
are not worth the time
