Those of us at St. Michael’s who play soccer with Fr. Ignacio are well aware of the fact that he does not age. Nevertheless, he still celebrates his birthday on October 9th each year. October 9th is also the feast day of St. John Henry Newman (1801-1890), whose ever-relevant, ever-vital thought marks him as ageless in his own manner. To celebrate this birthday-feast day occasion, we interviewed Fr. Ignacio for our podcast: Fr. Theologian Matthew Kuhner shares how the Church's vision of the family goes beyond what we are often led to think. Dr. Kuhner is academic dean and professor of systematic theology at St. Bernard's School of Theology and Ministry. He is a co-founder of the new Theological Certificate in Evangelization.
