This podcast will be a discussion on the guests life and how they are doing as well as discussing sports in general and whats going on in the sports world.
To rap up season 4 Derek and Zak talk about what has lead Derek to get to the point he is right now. Zak and Derek also have a little surprise at the end.
Tommy Armstrong is a sports communication major at Marist College. Tommy is an anchor for the RedFox report which is a marist highlight show, shown at marist sports halftimes. Tommy started his passion in high school where he began to call games for his school as well as be a part of their broadcasting team. Tommy is also part of the class of 2025.
Thomas Tricoli is a current marist student whose interest is field, TV and sports communication. Tom is part of the class of 2025. Tom has been part of the production for marist athletics since the spring of their sophomore year. Tom has also had a huge impact on marist not just with sports or production or even extra circulars. Tom has also been part of the admissions team as a tour guide.
Dylan Hoy played 4 years at Marist before graduating and then went on to transfer to Louisville for his grad year which will be this year. Dylan has played in the NECBL, draft leagues, and the Cape Cod League. Dylan is an infielder primarily 2nd base.

Max Zart is from Cleveland, Ohio, and is part of the Marist football team where Max plays defensive end. Max will graduate in the winter of 2023 but is part of the class of 2024. Max is part of the student-athlete advisor committee and the Center for social media and had all-academic honorable mention awards. Max is a dual concentration in Journalism and Sports Communication.
Malory is from Simpsonville, SC, and will be graduating in 2025 from Bluefield State University (WV). In HS played for Southside Christian (SC). Malory started their college career at Newberry College and then went to Erskine College but is now attending Bluefield State University (WV). Malory is currently studying sports management and business. Malory was a 3 x all-state football and 3-time all-region where in his Junior year he had 2600 rushing yards and 32 touchdowns.
Aneta Dorman is from Alena, GA and currently attends the University of Tennessee. Aneta will be a senior studying Advertising. Aneta is on the club Tennis Team @Tennessee.
Grady Zeigler is from Cleveland, Ohio, and just finished their sophomore year at Marist College. Grady played on the football team for 1 1/2 seasons and is a political science major on the Pre-law track. Grady also has been involved in Model UN.

Perryn is currently a Sophomore at Marist College studying Sports Communication and Public Relations. Perryn has been involved in CenterField with pitching ideas and communication between athletes. Perryn is the student manager and social media for the football team. Perryn is also the historical of the athletic booster club. Perryn has specialized in social media and will be with the Buffalo Bison the AAA affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays as part of the social media and PR team this summer.
Patrick Gaven and Dylan Lalehzar are both from Garden City, NY as they both went to the same High School. Both Pat and Dylan have played a variety of sports as a kid.
Samantha Caldarelli is from Stoneham, MA. Samantha is a criminal justice major with a psychology and social work minor. Samantha is currently a Junior but graduating after the first semester of her Senior Year. Samantha is part of the soccer team and SAAC.
Christian is a Senior from North Haledon, NJ. Christian has been studying Sports Communication, Journalism, and Public Relations at Marist College. Christian has been the full-time men’s basketball beat reporter for the past 2 years through Center Field. Christian is also a content creator intern for sports grid as well as a sports writer for Metsmerized. Lastly, Christian is a staff writer and soccer analyst for TWSN.
Cam Chappelle was born in Virginia but now lives in Hartford, CT. Cam is a sophomore at Marist College studying communication with an interest in Journalism or Sports Communication. Cam has played sports throughout his entire life. Meanwhile, Cam has family in Paris.

Patrick Taylor is one of the co-hosts of the RedFox report and is involved with other activities on campus. Patrick is a senior graduating Marist very soon.
Jonathan Kinane is from Syracuse, NY, and is currently a Senior at Marist College. Jonathan is the editor-in-chief of centerfield but has been on MCTV and part of the RedFox report.
Marley Pope is from Baltimore, MD. Marley is currently a sophomore and he is involved with Center Field and MCTV. Also, Marley is on the club soccer team at Marist as well.

Patrick Cowger is from South Kingstown, RI, and goes to school at Seton Hall where he Co-hosts a podcast three-point play.

Sean Keag is currently a Sophomore in Sports Communication at Marist College. Sean also is a Mets fan and a big college basketball fan.

Justin Webster is currently a Senior at Marist College in Sports Communication and plays a part in the RedFox report.
Dom Donohue is from Annapolis, MD, Dom currently is a senior at Marist College on the football team as a punter. Currently, Dom will return to Marist for his master’s degree and will be eligible for his Grad year because of the COVID year of eligibility. Dom is a business administration major with a concentration in Finance with a minor and economics. However, Dom’s master’s degree will be in Marketing. Dom has been a 3 year started for Marist as their punter.
Austin Trimble is from Canton, GA, where Austin attends Marist College as a Business major and is currently a Sophomore. Austin is currently a cornerback on the football team. Austin was 1st team in all region and all county.

James Haug is currently one of the anchors for the Red Fox report. James is graduating this semester in sports communications. James is a PC fan as well as Knicks, Rangers, and Mets.
Jarod Rodriguez is from Danbury, CT. Jarod is a communication major at Marist with a double concentration in Sports Communication and Journalism and a minor in Video Production. Jarod was a camera operator for the RedFox network from September 2019- 2021. Jarod was also the sports video/graphics intern @SportsGrid from September 2021- December 2021 and the Summer Content Intern for SNY in 2022. Jarod is currently the social media intern with Fansview which started in October 2022 and also the director of Center Field from August 2021 till now. Jarod also Co-hosts his own podcast NY FlyZone from September 2020- the present day.
Tristian McAlister is from Fredericksburg, VA. This past summer Tristian played with the Mystic Schooners. Tristian started his college career playing for the University of Charlestown (WV) in division 2 for a year. Tristian then went to Juno and play at Patrick Henry CC and now Tristian is at Mount St. Mary’s studying business.
For this episode, we have 3 guests, all of whom are big sports fans. They also are all Sophomores at Marist College. First off, Jack Devin and Max Racicot are both members of the club baseball team. Dylan Supino however is part of the event staff for Marist sporting events. Jack and Max are both from Connecticut however Max is from Woodstock and Jack is from Brookfield. On the other hand, Dylan is from Milford, NJ
Brian Ramos is from Ramsey, NJ. Brian is a business minor with a major in Communication with a concentration in sports communication. Brian has been part of the Marist circle for a semester earlier on in his college experience. Brian started being part of MCTV this year. Brian has been with Marist stat which started last year and has been with it for all 2 years. Brian was also a student team manager since the start of 2nd semester of his freshman year. Lastly, Brian has been with Center Field for 4 years of his entire college experience. Brian is expected to graduate this year.
Andrew Hard is from Putnam Valley, NY. Andrew is a communication major with a double concentration in sports communication and Journalism as well as a Business minor. Andrew is the managing editor of the center field, and co-host of The Relay Throw podcast. Andrew is also a production crew member of the Red Fox Report (Marist halftime show) and a senior officer of the peers influence peers partnership.
Ricardo Martinez-Paz is from Princeton, NJ. Ricardo is currently a senior studying sports communication. Ricardo goes to Marist college where he is the deputy editor-in-chief of Center Field. Ricardo is a multimedia student assistant at the RedFox Network/ESPN3/ESPN+ where he started in December of 2021 after being an intern from October 2021-December 2021. Ricardo was also an intern at Hudson Valley Sports Report from august 2021-October 2021. Ricardo was an athletics staff member from September 2019-august 2021. Ricardo currently co-hosts the podcast steagles. Ricardo is also heavily involved in MCTV and a research intern for Leander’s book “The Long Game” about the USMNT and has been Leander’s intern since the beginning of last semester.
Paige Messier is from East Providence, RI, Paige is currently in her Junior Year however, Paige is graduating this spring. Paige goes to the University of Rhode Island Studying Sports Media and communication. Paige has been an intern with WPRI-12, and WJAR-10. Paige is also an intern for URI athletics and the A-10. Paige was part of the five-cent cigar the first two years of college.
Zach Letson is going to be graduating from Syracuse this coming semester in the class of 2023. Zach is currently part of the Newhouse School where he is studying broadcast digital journalism. Zach is originally from Miami, FL. Zach has been part of doing games for ACC Network as part of the opportunities at Syracuse. Zach mainly has been with Citrus TV as well as the main student radio station WAER. Lastly Zach has been with another student radio station on-campus in Z-89.
Hunter and Jamison Embury are both twin brothers from Yorktown, NY. They are both currently attending Marist college for their 5th year where they play lacrosse. Both of the Embury twins studied Business and finance and now are going for their MBA in financial management.
Matt Spirio is from Long Island, NY. Matt is currently a Senior at Marist College where he is currently studying Sports Communication and Journalism with a double minor in Mathematics and Data Analytics. Matt is the co-director of MCTV’s show Halftime on the Hudson as well as the director/producer for the RedFox report which is the Marist Halftime show. Matt was a game operations intern at FanDuel from June 2022 to August 2022. Matt was also a public relations and broadcasting intern for the New York Boulders for the summer of 2021. Matt was a staff writer for freelance from Aug 2018- October 2020. Then again Matt was a staff writer and editor at Freelance from December 2020-May 2021.
Jacob Irons is from Plainfield, CT. Jacob is currently a sophomore at the University of Notre Dame where he is studying film/TV/Theatre to become a sports broadcaster. As the play-by-play announcer, Jacob was the broadcaster for the Mystic Schooners this past summer. Jacob is currently the sports director of Notre Dame TV as well as the broadcaster for Notre Dame athletics which are aired on ESPN +. Jacob is also an NBC director and spotter for Notre Dame football games on Saturday. Lastly, Jacob is also the play-by-play voice of WVFI, the student radio for Notre Dame.
Braydon Downs is originally from Syracuse, NY. Braydon has been involved in North Road comm as an account representative. Braydon also was an anchor for his high school’s news. Braydon was also a social media manager for his high school’s lacrosse team. Braydon is part of the Rugby team at Marist and is part of the Marist class of 2025. Braydon is currently studying sports communication.
Robert DeFelice is originally from New Hampshire. Rob is part of the graduating class at Marist in 2023. Rob was a media intern for the Massachusetts Pirates from January 2021- May 2021. Rob has also been the football operations manager for all 4 years of school. Rob has been the host of Halftime on the Hudson for MCTV as well as now this year he is part of the RedFox report as a Sports Anchor. Rob is studying sports communication.
Trevor Rohrbacher is from Clinton, CT. Trevor has been a huge Rams fan and has stood by them after moving to Los Angles awhile back. Trevor has been at Marist while continuing his education by attending the University of Connecticut. Trevor was part of the golf team in High School.
Molly White is from South Kingstown and graduated from La Salle in 2020. Molly now is at Penn state as part of the class of 2024. Molly interned with Ocean State Waves in the summer of 2022. Molly is an intern for the Penn State football team and is a part of the psucommradio.
Connor Kurpat graduated from Marist College last year in 2022. Connor now works at MLB Network as a Freelance broadcast Associate. Connor has been a contributor to FanSided since April 2021. Connor was part of centerfield which created the magazine. Connor also was the director of the sports shoot Halftime on the Hudson which is part of MCTV. Connor is originally from Lakewood, NJ
Christina Layden is currently on the Marist soccer team as part of the class of 2025. Christina is from Union, NJ where she played a Union Catholic high school. Christina was a Union county conference’s first team selection in 2019 and 2020. Christina also played with FC Copa Academy and earned a spoon in New Jersey’s Olympic Development program. In 2017 she made the ODP east regional team and was then invited to a national training camp in January 2018
Jimmy Tsiantoulas is from Rockland, Massachusetts. Jimmy is currently studying sports communication and Journalism at Marist College as part of the class of 2025. Jimmy is a statistical analyst and public address announcer for Marist sports. Jimmy is also part of the center field and MCTV. Jimmy played football in high school as well as being part of the newspaper.
Dugan Lloyd goes to Penn State hoping to be in the sports business. This past summer Dugan was the play-by-play broadcaster for the North Shore Navigators. At school, Dugan is currently involved in the psusportsnight. Dugan also is part of the take cave podcast, the comm radio station. Dugan’s expected graduation is in 2023.
Zac Zyons went to school at South Kingstown High School. He mainly participated on the baseball team. Zac was the starting shortstop from his freshman year. Zac now is at Bryant University playing baseball. In Zac’s freshman year he did not play as was recovering from an injury. Zac is expected to graduate in 2025 at Bryant. Over the summer Zac played in the FCBL for the Norwich Sea Unicorns. In this league, according to baseball references, it lists Zac as a 2nd baseman, 3rd baseman, and right fielder during the summer. Zac was listed as a 2020 perfect game preseason All-American and also competed in basketball and was on the National Honors Society.
Nick Vajtay is a current student at Marist College who is part of the class of 2023. Nick is in a lot of programs at Marist such as MCTV where he has mainly been on camera, been a writer for center field and is a treasurer for Maristat. Nick also has been a camera operator for the Redfox network and was a production intern with SportsGrid. Nick had been a radio show host on WIOX and has his own podcast with Ricardo called Speaking Steagles. He is now an news desk intern at NBC Sports.
Trey Young is from South Kingstown where I grew up. He was part of the basketball, baseball and football teams in high school. He went to Western New England for college where as a freshman he continued to play baseball and football but this year he only plays baseball. Trey graduated SKHS in 2021 and is expected to graduate Western New England in 2025.
Andre Cutler is from Mamaroneck, NY and went to Mamaroneck High School. Andre is currently part of the class of 2025 at Marist College where he is part of the defense. Andre was the captain of Met Oval MLS next academy U-19 team. He started 17/18 games he played as a Freshman at Marist. He started as a defensive center mid and center back for Met Oval which he played at Marist as well.
Zak went to New Paltz high school where he was in the National Honors Society and was on the Baseball team. He is going to be part of Marist College class of 2023 with being able to graduate in 3 years. He was part of his high schools Television station. He had an internship with Hudson Valley Sports Report in early 2021. He also is part of MCTV and has been a Center Field writer. Lastly he is with FanSided as a content contributor which started in March
Adam Bernstein is currently at the University of Rhode Island where he is studying Sports Media in the Harrington School. He has called some sports events for URI and has a podcast with Montaner Fresilli called the Rhody Rumble. Adam worked with MSG this summer for his internship. Adam is from Merrick, NY.
Miles Kauderer plays DE for Marist College. Miles is from NJ. Miles has made huge contributions to the Marist Football team over the last couple of seasons.
Jalen Terrell goes to school at Limestone in South Carolina as does my other quest Issac Crisp. Jalen plays Linebacker. Isaac plays DB.
Zachary Austin is a current student at the University of Rhode Island. Zach is part of the good five cent cigar where he has been a writer and a staff reporter. Zach also is with WRIU where he's the sports director. Zach has done broadcasting for various different URI sports and will continue to do so throughout his college experience. Zach is from Milford, MA.
Dan Aulbach is currently a sports communication student who goes to Marist College. Dan is part of center field which is Marists sports newspaper and is a co-host of the relay throw. Dan is also starting a new podcast called tritakesareapod. Dan is from Brookline, NH.
Ty Stimmler is part of the class of 2025 at Marist College where he is studying sports communication. Ty came into Marist as part of the rowing team but he stepped away from doing so he could focus more on his academics. Ty is from Doylestown, PA which is just outside of Philly.
Trey Grey and Noah Mangum are both football players who are friends with my guest on Episode 3 JW. They both grew up in South Carolina. Trey Grey plays football at Princeton as a WR. Noah Mangum is a center a Newberry in South Carolina. Both of my guests today have a big personality and a lot of charisma.
JW Hertzberg was a QB at Marist College where he spent 2 years there. JW is from South Carolina. JW at his time with Marist was in backup role. JW has not figured out what he is going to do this coming school season but will be going to a southern school to further his education outside of football.
My Guest is Jacob Aframian who is going to be a Senior at Marist College studying Sports Communication. Jacob is from Briarcliff Manor, NY. Jacob has done some sports news on TWSN.net this summer. He has been involved with Center Field the sports newspaper over his time in college.Jacob has been sports journalist with the Wrightway sports network LLC and is a production intern with SportsGrid.
Ian Nicholas goes to Syracuse University studying Broadcast Journalism at the Newhouse school with hopes of becoming a sports broadcaster like myself. Ian is from New Canaan, CT where he was able to be part of NCTV 78 where he broadcasted the sports for his high school as well as other events going on. During the summer Ian is the broadcaster of the Amsterdam Mohawks.
