Tommy Armstrong is a sports communication major at Marist College. Tommy is an anchor for the RedFox report which is a marist highlight show, shown at marist sports halftimes. Tommy started his passion in high school where he began to call games for his school as well as be a part of their broadcasting team. Tommy is also part of the class of 2025.

Thomas Tricoli is a current marist student whose interest is field, TV and sports communication. Tom is part of the class of 2025. Tom has been part of the production for marist athletics since the spring of their sophomore year. Tom has also had a huge impact on marist not just with sports or production or even extra circulars. Tom has also been part of the admissions team as a tour guide.

Dylan Hoy played 4 years at Marist before graduating and then went on to transfer to Louisville for his grad year which will be this year. Dylan has played in the NECBL, draft leagues, and the Cape Cod League. Dylan is an infielder primarily 2nd base.

Max Zart is from Cleveland, Ohio, and is part of the Marist football team where Max plays defensive end. Max will graduate in the winter of 2023 but is part of the class of 2024. Max is part of the student-athlete advisor committee and the Center for social media and had all-academic honorable mention awards. Max is a dual concentration in Journalism and Sports Communication.

Malory is from Simpsonville, SC, and will be graduating in 2025 from Bluefield State University (WV). In HS played for Southside Christian (SC). Malory started their college career at Newberry College and then went to Erskine College but is now attending Bluefield State University (WV). Malory is currently studying sports management and business. Malory was a 3 x all-state football and 3-time all-region where in his Junior year he had 2600 rushing yards and 32 touchdowns.

Perryn is currently a Sophomore at Marist College studying Sports Communication and Public Relations. Perryn has been involved in CenterField with pitching ideas and communication between athletes. Perryn is the student manager and social media for the football team. Perryn is also the historical of the athletic booster club. Perryn has specialized in social media and will be with the Buffalo Bison the AAA affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays as part of the social media and PR team this summer.

Dom Donohue is from Annapolis, MD, Dom currently is a senior at Marist College on the football team as a punter. Currently, Dom will return to Marist for his master’s degree and will be eligible for his Grad year because of the COVID year of eligibility. Dom is a business administration major with a concentration in Finance with a minor and economics. However, Dom’s master’s degree will be in Marketing. Dom has been a 3 year started for Marist as their punter.

Jarod Rodriguez is from Danbury, CT. Jarod is a communication major at Marist with a double concentration in Sports Communication and Journalism and a minor in Video Production. Jarod was a camera operator for the RedFox network from September 2019- 2021. Jarod was also the sports video/graphics intern @SportsGrid from September 2021- December 2021 and the Summer Content Intern for SNY in 2022. Jarod is currently the social media intern with Fansview which started in October 2022 and also the director of Center Field from August 2021 till now. Ricardo Martinez-Paz is from Princeton, NJ. Ricardo is currently a senior studying sports communication. Ricardo goes to Marist college where he is the deputy editor-in-chief of Center Field. Ricardo is a multimedia student assistant at the RedFox Network/ESPN3/ESPN+ where he started in December of 2021 after being an intern from October 2021-December 2021. Ricardo was also an intern at Hudson Valley Sports Report from august 2021-October 2021. Ricardo was an athletics staff member from September 2019-august 2021. Ricardo currently co-hosts the podcast steagles. Ricardo is also heavily involved in MCTV and a research intern for Leander’s book “The Long Game” about the USMNT and has been Leander’s intern since the beginning of last semester.

Paige goes to the University of Rhode Island Studying Sports Media and communication. Paige has been an intern with WPRI-12, and WJAR-10. Paige is also an intern for URI athletics and the A-10. Matt is currently a Senior at Marist College where he is currently studying Sports Communication and Journalism with a double minor in Mathematics and Data Analytics. Matt is the co-director of MCTV’s show Halftime on the Hudson as well as the director/producer for the RedFox report which is the Marist Halftime show. Matt was a game operations intern at FanDuel from June 2022 to August 2022. Matt was also a public relations and broadcasting intern for the New York Boulders for the summer of 2021. Matt was a staff writer for freelance from Aug 2018- October 2020. Then again Matt was a staff writer and editor at Freelance from December 2020-May 2021.

Jacob Irons is from Plainfield, CT. Jacob is currently a sophomore at the University of Notre Dame where he is studying film/TV/Theatre to become a sports broadcaster. As the play-by-play announcer, Jacob was the broadcaster for the Mystic Schooners this past summer. Jacob is currently the sports director of Notre Dame TV as well as the broadcaster for Notre Dame athletics which are aired on ESPN +. Jacob is also an NBC director and spotter for Notre Dame football games on Saturday. Lastly, Jacob is also the play-by-play voice of WVFI, the student radio for Notre Dame.

Robert DeFelice is originally from New Hampshire. Rob is part of the graduating class at Marist in 2023. Rob was a media intern for the Massachusetts Pirates from January 2021- May 2021. Rob has also been the football operations manager for all 4 years of school. Rob has been the host of Halftime on the Hudson for MCTV as well as now this year he is part of the RedFox report as a Sports Anchor. Rob is studying sports communication.

Christina Layden is currently on the Marist soccer team as part of the class of 2025. Christina is from Union, NJ where she played a Union Catholic high school. Christina was a Union county conference’s first team selection in 2019 and 2020. Christina also played with FC Copa Academy and earned a spoon in New Jersey’s Olympic Development program. Dugan Lloyd goes to Penn State hoping to be in the sports business. This past summer Dugan was the play-by-play broadcaster for the North Shore Navigators. At school, Dugan is currently involved in the psusportsnight. Dugan also is part of the take cave podcast, the comm radio station. Dugan’s expected graduation is in 2023.

Zac Zyons went to school at South Kingstown High School. He mainly participated on the baseball team. Zac was the starting shortstop from his freshman year. Zac now is at Bryant University playing baseball. In Zac’s freshman year he did not play as was recovering from an injury. Zac is expected to graduate in 2025 at Bryant. Over the summer Zac played in the FCBL for the Norwich Sea Unicorns. In this league, according to baseball references, it lists Zac as a 2nd baseman, 3rd baseman, and right fielder during the summer. Zac was listed as a 2020 perfect game preseason All-American and also competed in basketball and was on the National Honors Society.

Nick Vajtay is a current student at Marist College who is part of the class of 2023. He went to Western New England for college where as a freshman he continued to play baseball and football but this year he only plays baseball. Trey graduated SKHS in 2021 and is expected to graduate Western New England in 2025.

Andre was the captain of Met Oval MLS next academy U-19 team. He started 17/18 games he played as a Freshman at Marist. Ian Nicholas goes to Syracuse University studying Broadcast Journalism at the Newhouse school with hopes of becoming a sports broadcaster like myself. Ian is from New Canaan, CT where he was able to be part of NCTV 78 where he broadcasted the sports for his high school as well as other events going on. During the summer Ian is the broadcaster of the Amsterdam Mohawks.
