Some of America’s most beloved comfort foods: mac n cheese, pizza, cheesy garlic bread, and nachos, grilled cheese, quesadilla, mozzarella sticks - All involve cheese. And vegans are over here trying to ditch dairy all together. We must seem crazy.

This episode is one of my most anticipated episodes, because there is a lot to unpack about cheese. Which vegan cheeses are the best? Where can you find them? What are the health risks of eating cheese? How does the production of cheese negatively impact the planet? Milking cows really can’t be that bad for them, right? What is vegan cheese actually made from? Can you really make your own cheese at home? I am going to cover all of these topics in this episode!

Ever wonder where vegans get their protein?

One of the biggest misconceptions is that humans have to source protein from animals to be able to build strong muscles and this simply is not true. It is time to reevaluate our enthusiasm for protein, take a look at the science that isn’t funded by our government or the meat, dairy, and eggs industries, and then decide if we want to continue to keep animal protein and protein in general up on the pedestal we currently have it on.
