In 1984 the first women students arrived at Pembroke. The College is marking the 30th anniversary with a number of events throughout the 2014-15 academic year. Audio and video files from these events will be uploaded here.
A panel discussion focussing on our vision for Pembroke in the years to come. Susan Stobbs was chairing and speakers were Professor Loraine Gelsthorpe, Dr Rosalind Polly Blakesley, Dr Simon Learmount, Catherine Potterton (2013) and Carey Scott (1988).
This event focused on the issue of diversity and the College’s educational mission. It was convened by Dr Lauren Kassell and the speakers were Dr Caroline Burt (Admissions Tutor), William Popplewell (Junior Parlour President and Men’s Officer), Prof Tim Bussey (Director of Studies in Natural Sciences) and Benita Turner-Bridger (Graduate Parlour Women’s Officer).
