Join host Stuart Haskin as he speaks with guests who share experiences that illustrate the mindset that we celebrate as #CHANGEMAKERS. Whether it be a culturally relevant issue, workplace related topic, relationship situation, or simply a story of how one broke through mental barriers to find personal freedom, Stuart’s light-hearted and engaging thirst for knowledge makes for a show not only entertaining, but educational as well.
Back in October of 2022, Stuart Haskin was asked to appear on "The Overwatch Collective" podcast and speak about police interactions with our community, and vice versa. The true question is, how can we bridge the divide? In the show, Jesse and Greg speak with Stuart about Get Safe's mission to help our community. They speak about how building a two-way bridge of communication can allow law enforcement and our community to interact effectively and come to a positive resolution for all. They discuss how stressful situations and the unexpected tension First Responders deal with daily requires a learned awareness of emotional and physical self-care, and how putting these practices in place can conceivably prevent negative reactions such as substance abuse and physical violence.Get Safe provides courses and training for individuals to establish a foundation to ensure interactions between the community and law enforcement resolve in a positive direction.Find out more at https://getsafeusa.com—The Overwatch Collective podcast (T.O.C.) is run by Jesse and Greg, who are both prior U.S. Marines and are currently in the U.S. Coast Guard.
