Hi I'm Brittany Stockwell and I am the host of the @stayintunepodcast! Originally I began this podcast as a place for musicians to explore wellness but that niche didn't sit well with me. Because I am not just a musician, our identity is not based on just one aspect of our life experience. I've always been obsessed with all things music & arts and as an adult have become equally as passionate about holistic wellness. I want this podcast to be a space where we can all explore expression, creativity, wellness. I can't wait to dive deeper into this with you!

In this episode I discuss how we didn't just survive as musicians during the COVID pandemic we thrived! We gained a new perspective on what it means to be a musician, how naturally resilient we are, and how wellness and self care can transform our lives. How many new skills did you acquire over the past couple of years? Are you continuing to take care of yourself as things open back up?
Reflection & Journal Prompts from this episode:
Take a moment to think about how quickly your life changed on a dime back in March 2020. Maybe taking out a journal and write down all the ways your life changed. Also take a moment to celebrate your resiliency… think about and write down all of the ways you pivoted and made it work. How you not only survived but how you thrived, because I know you did! Think about how far you’ve come, all the new skills you’ve acquired. And then I also want you to consider how, and hopefully it did, wellness became important for you during the pandemic. What type of practices did you start or begin for your mental, physical, and spiritual health? Did you start to do anything differently as far as your practice with your instrument goes?
Topics discussed in this episode:
musician wellness
self care for musicians
resiliency
rest
mental, physical, spiritual health

the importance of perspective
