I'm pretty sure I said it not once, not twice, but at least three times that 3 of Pentacles is about the lasting effect!

Not sure if you can tell I got a little huffy in this one about some commentary made about one of my favorite movies of all time, Reality Bites. You can find that commentary in this excellent podcast on Spotify called 60 Songs that Explain the 90's hosted by Rob Harvilla. The episode was about the famous Lisa Loeb song Stay (I missed you) check it out here: https://open.spotify.com/episode/5kL4f9oKnBE5cITnGjpiJS?si=kpXHSqGYSvSE7y-I4vW-yg

Dreams are an oracle, dreams happen in our bodies, in our brains, while we sleep. Our dreams make art and often we let that artwork just slip away... That’s quite alright. Not all of us are on a path to self discovery in that way. But for those of you who are even a little curious about dreams, this episode is for you.

Generally the wands represent the element of fire. Spiritually speaking, fire is our passion. I think it’s interesting that wooden sticks or branches are the fire symbol in the tarot because they only hold the potential for fire. They are also materials that can be consumed by fire. I have some thoughts...

We seek out different ways to move through the world, for all kinds of fascinating reasons. It’s exciting to think that even if we’re basically “skeletons in meat suits hurtling through space on a rock”, we still long to do it our own way, and still seek out our own perspectives and come to understand the world and express ourselves through infinite manifestations! Even if you can’t drive, The Chariot is a vehicle for your journey through this beautiful life… and it totally involves time travel.

In the final episode of the season I will be sharing a little story called Grace, about a tarot reader who loses her ability to read cards. So get cozy, and thanks for going on this journey through the tarot with me!

I look forward to being with you all next year!

Special Thanks to Sharon, Dan, Megan, Samuel (Dad) for your contributions this year!

Since it’s Halloween, I thought I'd use the scariest suite of the tarot… The Swords! And do a mini collective reading for this episode! I've pulled three cards at random with a question in mind - “How can we face the ghosts that frightens us?”. If you listened to season one of this podcast I ONLY did collective readings. So you might remember that even though I’ll be interpreting the cards, you can take what works for you and leave the rest. Also, this reading is for anyone that encounters it at any time.

How do you know if you had a good reading? A good reading should be like a good meal. In this episode I will explore some connections between food and tarot. As well as what it's like to be sitting on my side of the table and what an unfortunate tarot reading I received taught me. Plus, a lovely recording of one of my favorite boleros to bookend this episode.

Special thanks to my lovely friend Megan for inspiring this episode!

Thanks to my dad Samuel for providing a musical soundtrack to this episode!

4 of Swords is the card immediately after our mascot three of swords, so getting in touch with all that pain obviously warrants some rest. But we don’t have to be in a state of absolute pain and suffering to deserve rest. It’s natural to rest, and in the context of this card, I’d even go as far as to say rest is neither good nor bad.

Swords represent our mind. This card explores different reasons we may need to lay ideas goals and plans to rest... and why that's not always the easiest thing to do.

When The Lovers card shows up in a reading, it’s super exciting- we see a couple made of masculine and feminine energy, balance, acceptance, paradise, and souls made for each other. But all of this is just breadcrumbs leading down the false path of believing someone else could actually complete you. Or some thing... Or some where... Look closely, The Lovers is a mirror image of The Devil… if that mirror reflected back some sort of hell scape version of paradise. In this episode we'll look at both.

We'll be looking at The Star card, which is generally about grief. So paired with our brave mascot the three of swords card - a calling towards the heart, we have an appropriate combo of answering to your own grief. What does this mean? Grief isn’t something that just happens to us, it’s something we have to actively engage with. A lot of people ask me in readings “how do I get over” something or how “do I let go”. What they are asking is “how do I grieve a loss?”. I wish I could go back in time and just show them the star card.

We'll also be looking at the Moon card. Discussing rage, that time of the month, and... werewolves!

Hi again! This is the first episode of Season two of La Luna Tarot’s podcast. I'll be talking about spiritual guides and guardians... like Faeries and Angels... and the devil...

Today’s card is the two of Pentacles (and a few others) as they relate to the three of swords, which is our mascot for this season. In my introduction to this season I talk about how the three of swords is a calling towards the heart when it is wounded. So we’re gonna get a little more into that.

Just a heads up, you can see all of the cards I’m talking about on my Instagram @La_Luna_Tarot and facebook feeds. Please visit and say hi!

Hello! Welcome to Season two of La Luna Tarot’s podcast. This season I’ve got a little something different for you.

I won’t be giving the same collective readings I did last time. Because tarot is more than interpretation of the cards, it’s an experience. For me that means a series of connections. I hope to give you a better taste of that this season.

Don't forget to visit me on the socials. You can see all of the cards I’m talking about on my IG @La_Luna_Tarot and FB @La Luna Tarot feeds. Please visit and say hi!

The Empress card sits upon a wooden holder. Below are three cards; Six of Staves, Seven of Staves, and Five of Staves all featuring a light haired woman accompanied by a number of brown branches.

Special Thanks to Megan B. for her insight and wisdom on this episode.

Note: I mentioned that I pulled an additional card for this reading, but did not say what it was until the end. The additional card is The Empress.

Blog RSS After a month long hiatus I am back to share with you some Halloween themed goodies! This month’s podcast celebrates… and speculates the supernatural phenomena found in This Deck is Haunted, a 35 card Oracle deck. The three card spread, brilliantly titled Dracula, comes from Monster Spreads: Horror Inspired Tarot Spreads. Both were created by artist John Jennison. Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday, but honestly, I’m in a halloween mood almost all year long. In this episode we uncover what old stories and ideas might be haunting you and are ready to be put to rest, how those old ideas profoundly affect you on the day to day, and what you can do to rid yourself of the (metaphorical) monster it may have become.

*For more information about the deck, book, and other references to the paranormal featured in this podcast, please visit the bottom of the page.

Hello! Welcome to the 4th episode of La Luna Tarot’s podcast. My name is Aidinha and I am your host and the founder of La Luna Tarot where I provide spiritually illuminated counsel for all seasons and walks of life.

Today’s episode is a little different than most. My reading for the collective- that’s you and anyone who encounters this podcast - will feature a spooky Oracle deck, oooooo… that is also why I have different music in the background today. I thought it might set the mood. So please enjoy this fun track by Kevin Macleod…

OK, I think you get the picture. In addition to using an oracle deck called This Deck is Haunted created by John Jennison, I will also be using a spread from the same artist’s wonderful book Monster Spreads a collection of horror inspired tarot spreads!

I wanted to share these two things with you today because they have brought me a lot of joy. And if you

Six tarot cards from The Dream Keepers Tarot by Liz Houston surrounded by candles crystals and herbs.

Another month, another episode. Here I give a reading about THE most popular subject- LOVE!

I’m still getting the hang of this format, so forgive me for it’s ultra simple-ness. I just had to share some cards with you and it seems the easiest way to do that is with a voice recording. Plus, as I mentioned before, this is essentially what you’d get in a Email Guidance reading except, you know, it would be specific to your question and circumstance.

Also in this episode is a little more explanation of the card placements. In case you are wondering why I put cards where I put them.

The cards we will be exploring today are:

The Lovers (Top row, left), Six of Cups (Middle row, far left), Queen of Wands (middle row, center left), Two of Cups (middle row, center right), Ten of Pentacles (middle row, far right), and Seven of Swords (Bottom row, right).

This reading is meant for the collective, so take what you want and leave the rest.

If you have any ideas for future collective readings, please let me know. You can contact me at the top of this page where it says CONTACT.

*Transcripts for this episode are not available at this time. I do intend to provide one, eventually, if there is a need/request. Feel free to let me know if that is the case for you or if you have any suggestions for future podcasts.

I’m so excited to share a reading with all of you! I pulled these cards especially for the collective, that’s you and everyone else that follows my work. This reading is guidance for the month of June. I hope there will be a nugget or two in here that resonates and uplifts you today.

This is also a pretty solid example of what it’s like to get email guidance from the offerings on my homepage. The only difference being that when you purchase individual email guidance you can ask any question you want and the cards and message will be tailored just for you and your situation.

The cards we will be exploring today are:

The Wheel of Fortune (Top row, left), Page of Swords (Middle row, far left), 2 of Pentacles (middle row, center left), Ace of Swords (middle row, center right), King of Pentacles (middle row, far right), and The Empress (Bottom row, right).

The theme for this reading is navigating change.
