32 If you find anyone here who has taken your ·idols [gods], that person will ·be killed [L not live]! ·Your [L Our] ·relatives [L brothers] will be my witnesses. You may look for anything that belongs to you and take anything that is yours.” (Now Jacob did not know that Rachel had stolen Laban’s idols.)
35 Rachel said to her father, “Father, don’t be angry with me. I am not able to stand up before you because ·I am having my monthly period [L the way of women is on me].” So Laban ·looked through the camp [L searched], but he did not find ·his idols [L the teraphim].
Genesis 35:18 (EXB) 18 Rachel gave birth to the son, but she herself died. As she lay dying, she named the boy ·Son of My Suffering [Ben-oni], but Jacob called him Benjamin [C “son of my right hand/the south”].

On today's podcast, we will discuss the spirit of hatred. The Hebrew word for Hatred is Sane or H8130. It means hate, enemies, enemy, foes, and hateful. There are different levels of hate which we will discuss in Genesis 37.
Genesis 37:4 says, "And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated H8130 him, and could not speak peaceably unto him."
Genesis 37:5 says, "And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated H8130 him yet the more."
Genesis 37:8 says, "And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated H8130 him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words."
If you feel hate:
- Repent, cry out to God for help
- Pray for the person
- Sow or support them
- Choose to love
- Find out the root source of the hatred
When Hatred is in operation the following occurs:
- Mistreat
- Jealousy
- Kill
- Wishes someone fails
- Praying against or trying to curse people

But Paul, greatly [a]annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And he came out that very hour. 19 But when her masters saw that their hope of profit was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to the authorities. 20 And they brought them to the magistrates, and said, “These men, being Jews, exceedingly trouble our city; 21 and they teach customs which are not lawful for us, being Romans, to receive or observe.” 22 Then the multitude rose up together against them; and the magistrates tore off their clothes and commanded them to be beaten with rods. 23 And when they had laid many stripes on them, they threw them into prison, commanding the jailer to keep them securely. 24 Having received such a charge, he put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks.
The Philippian Jailer Saved 25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.
