John Calvin says that our faith should be "firm and certain," but then goes on to admit that "we cannot imagine any certainty that is not tinged with doubt, or any assurance that is not assailed by some anxiety."  Whew!  Thank goodness.  It's good to know that I am not the only one!  If doubts creep into your faith, just remember that according to John Calvin (father of the Reformed Tradition), that just makes you normal.  I consider that pretty good news.  Have a great week!
