Good morning! Another glorious October day is on tap for our teams. One is arguably the biggest NWSL match in Racing's history, as a lot of changes were made to get the team into the playoffs but they currently find themselves three points on the outside looking in with four matches remaining. The other is the latest installment of LIPAFC in Indy (which is oddly like a home game for me now) and it could be huge; a win today will lock up the Players' Shield and home field throughout the playoffs. Big stuff for both!
But before all of that, Joey and I discuss Racing's tough day in Utah and LouCity's home wins against Memphis and Miami, as well as letter "N" in "The ABC's Of Louisville Soccer".

Hello again, friend! Before beginning, all our thoughts and prayers to Bev Yanez as she and her family recover from their recent tragic loss. None of this soccer stuff even remotely matters compared to that. May they find some level of peace and comfort as they face the days ahead, and all our love goes out to them.

Greetings from Fishers, Indiana! I love my new place. But it's only 100 or so miles from LFS, and that ain't far at all.
In our first show of 2024, Joey and I discuss the numerous changes of both LouCity and Racing. Several key departures leave a lot of questions that need to be answered, but I think it's safe to say the mood is generally optimistic. Hopefully, you are looking forward to the seasons as much as we are!

Good day! So ... are you ready to feast? What is your "go to" on Thanksgiving? Something Italian always forks for me. But anyway ... So, soccering for 2023 has come to an end. Many positives to look at for both squads in '24, but some questions as well. Joey and I delve into it as best we can. Who will Racing and Loucity hold on to?
As for the future, the plan is to kick back in after the New Year ... or hey, we may get one more in before then. Or maybe depending on the volume of work at the job in Indy, this may be it. I'm just not sure, and time will tell. Regardless of what happens, I just wanted to thank all of you for being in my life. I sincerely hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and Holiday Season!

All proceeds will go to benefit the Center for Women and Families in Louisville, as well as Player National Emergency Trust operated by the NWSL Players Union. Each team will consist of up to 6 players, with a donation of $20 per individual player, or $100/team of 6. Good day! Well, it was a hell of a run. Couldn't be prouder of The Boys In Purple, even after a tough loss in the USL Final. In this abbreviated show, we go over (as quickly as possible) the game, and the rest of the time is spent speaking about events immediately afterwards and the role of supporter groups as we move forward, specifically focusing on The Coopers. Hopefully those of you that listen will understand there are no personal attacks per se because they have played a pivotal role since Day 1 and the efforts of members during games is greatly and deeply appreciated, but there is an honest discussion that needs to be had now as to what all of this looks like after the NWSL issue is resolved because of choices that have been made, and the responses we are seeing to not just specifically the last few weeks, but years as well.
Also, Joey and I will be recording Saturday for a super special PRE WORLD CUP SPECTACULAR! Of course there are the matches to discuss, but we will also talk about the lead up and how trying to process where these games are being held and how they came about. What happened throughout the league and particularly here has been a gut punch to us all. The Holiday Season is upon us!!! Are you gettin' ready? Looks like our teams are. Racing has a new coach as they prepare for a very important weekend with the expansion and NWSL drafts that are happening this week, and LouCity signs a couple of key components for next season! So as the rosters are build, we start to see the 2022 seasons take shape. Joey and I try to bring it all into focus while we prepare for what Santa will leave under our trees. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! Hopefully you are going to be with loved ones enjoying your favorite holiday fare! So yeah, Saturday night was pretty much as bad as it gets ... but, you know what? Life goes on! The sun is in the sky, birds are chirping ... well, except a few turkeys, but hey it is what it is :-) ... all is well! Some great things happened Saturday as well, mainly a tremendous NWSL finals experience for all that attended!! Joey and I break it all down ... and lastly, a bit of an announcement. What a week we had, and some crazy days to come! Last Friday, the USMNT won big against arch nemesis Mexico in style, and the next night LouCity gets a late goal from ... who else, right ... to get another massive win against a talented, game opponent to make the Eastern Conference final for the SEVENTH. STRAIGHT. YEAR! Unbelievable! (Ok yeah the draw against Jamaica was meh, but that's cool ... we're in a good mood!) Also, a huge match right here in Louisville is coming with the NWSL final here this Saturday. And, of course, another street fight this Saturday night to make the USL Final against Tampa Bay. Joey Cecil and I break it all down, and you make even smile once or twice :-) Enjoy!
After having to endure the stupidest rule ever invented in the history of sports, it was a big victory last Saturday that propels LouCity to the next round of the playoffs! It was a fun night all around and it almost feels like we're getting back to something that resembles the old "normal again (Amen!). Joey and I do our best to break it down ... as well as Emily Fox is up for rookie of the year n NWSL, Detroit City joining USL, the USMNT have a HUGE match Friday night v Mexico, and the USWNT gets younger ahead of their friendlies Down Under.
