This is an episode where we reflect on the part of our life that we devote to work, career, purpose, education, etc. Whether you are in school, climbing the corporate ladder, creating your own business, volunteering, or devoting your time and energy into parenting (one of the most important callings we can engage in), we need to have a plan that gets us where we want to be. We spend an enormous amount of our time pursuing our interests in this bucket and it is far too important to engage passively.

This is potentially the most important bucket to focus on because who we are, how we show up, how much we value growth will inform all the other areas of our lives. Ask yourself ... Who Am I? What is my purpose? Do I value this beautiful life I have been given? Do I value growth? Do I feel I am in the drivers seat of my own life? Do I continuously reflect on my power to impact those around me? Do I wake up each day in charge of my life or is life pulling me along? When it is all said and done ... what do I hope I leave behind in terms of what I contributed and how I made people feel? If my life was a book ... would it be a great read? Would I inspire others? Our children are little sponges soaking up all the data and energy in their environment. Having a safe place to be free to talk about what they see, hear and experience is essential to having a shot at becoming a well adjusted adult with a toolbox filled with tools to healthfully deal with adulthood. Today we pour into parents, into children and into families. First episode of The Daily Pour ... Welcome!
Danielle and Kim discuss how they feel about the significance of coffee and wine as figurative and symbolic parts of their life. They share how grounding rituals have meaning in our lives and we need to make sure we make room for them. How do we fill our own cups and how do we pour into others? The importance of being present, resetting, refocusing on the goals we deem important on our journey. Danielle and Kim introduce themselves and talk a little about their backgrounds. They share the purpose of their intentions with this podcast to help lift people up to inspire doing the work to create a more satisfying life. The importance of having Just One Person in our lives to give us space to talk, reflect, unpack and figure stuff out without judgement. Everyone is dealing with different pressures and the importance of recognizing those influences to the bigger picture. The importance of having the freedom to design our lives the way we want them ... versus the limited programming roles of the past. All life is about relationships ... with self, with others, with things, with thoughts, with purpose. Diving into which relationships are working and not working is the fun part. The starting place for everything is working on our relationship with ourselves. We have so much power in life when we get this right. Being honest and reflective about how we show up in life is critical to growth. The beauty of getting out of our head and putting our thoughts on paper. Our bodies will tell us so much if we just listen and pay attention. We are searching for the truth (the ding, ding, ding, ding!) so we can make decisions based upon whats real. We all have the answers inside of us. Sometimes we just need someone to help us sort it all out. Identifying what high vibrations are and low vibrations are and how by doing the work to raise our own vibration we can change everything ... ripple effect. How we show up is a choice. What's in your cup?
