When next you are requesting anything from God, remember that you should give Him due reverence. Don't dictate to Him, do not imagine who God will use for you and NEVER say " if you don't do it for me...
Mysterious are the ways of God. He works in ways that are unfathomable. He healed Bartimeaus by spoken words, He touched the leper in Mark 2 and healed him, He touched the coffin of widow's son, but for Lazarus, He spoke and he came out of the grave. This God will visit you in a wonderful way beyond your imagination in Jesus name.
Quality service and prompt obedience are the keys to prosperity and contentment in life. If you can render quality service and you are willing to obey Him promptly, then God will release prosperity to you. Job 36 v 11
Can a nursing mother forget to breastfeed her child? . It is impossible. God said that even if it is possible, I will not despise you, I can't forget to care for you.
Counsellors are human. They could give wrong counsel atimes. When next you have received counsel from your counsellor, pray very well for divine approval.
Without making his need known to man, George Muller prayed to God and was supernaturally provided for . He fed the orphans for over 60 years with about $6000 per week. That God will give you seed to sow into His work, the needy, the orphans, the widows, etc. 2 Corinthians 9 v 10.
Let your speech at all times be gracious ( pleasant and winsome), seasoned as it were with salt, so that you may never be at loss to know how you ought to answer anyone who puts a question to you. The goal is to bring out the best in others in a conversation, not to put them down or cut them out . Colossians 4 v 6 AMP.
The thrice Holy God cannot do anything evil. It is impossible for God to be wicked. He who gave you the sun, moon and stars; the air you breathe for survival, the water you drink. He who forgives your sin and has prepared a home for you above can never be wicked. Trust Him today for your deliverance.
It is good and comely to allow the experienced or the elderly to speak first in any gathering. Even when you are sure that the Spirit of God gave you the right message, you still ought to refrain until it comes to your turn to speak.
When going through life challenges, do not assume that only your friends will come to your rescue. Expect intruders. In these days of advanced technologies, be you a pastor, a medical practitioner, or a lawyer. Whtever your profession, people are watching you even when you did not invite them. I pray that you will not regret your steps in life in the name of Jesus. PRAY FOR DIVINE DIRECTION ALWAYS.
In breaking off from an addicted sin, sometimes, you can do it with an oath. You can prayerfully covenant yourself never to do it again. Until you are determined to stop sinning, sin will never leave you. Cowards can not be born again but only courageous people.
As Christians, we feel hurt when we are in pain. Sometimes, we feel depressed and anxious, and we express it. But as heavenly citizens, we must be consistently holy just like Job. If we maintain our integrity, God will surely reward us. Please do not compromise. God is watching over you.
If 100 people are arrested for sins of fornication and adultery, hardly will you find two blind people among them. You are fornicating because you have eyes. Should you then be blind so as to stop immorality? No. You are the one who will control the door of your eyes. Job 31 v 1.
God's probationary period for the glorification of his children may not be 6 months or one year as in secular jobs. It may take years of preparation. May God give us grace to wait without compromise. Amen.
Death is real. Resurrection is real. But there will be a separate resurrection. Some ( those who are born again) will rise to life and others ( sinners ) to damnation. John 5 v 28-29.
All God's people used to have this experience in life that they prayed, and immediate answers seemed delayed. Note this: NO TRUE FOLLOWER OF THE LORD'S IS EVER REALLY ABANDONED AND NO EARNEST PRAYERS EVER GO UNHEARD.
To be an eye to the blind, a feet to the lame , you need empowerment. As a father to the poor, according to Job, you must be financially empowered. Everybody wishes to be good to their neighbours, but if you are not empowered, it is practically impossible. Pray today for God to empower you so as to be a blessing to others around you.
Opportunity does not come everytime, it is occasional. The true test of your redemption will reflect in your attitude towards your neighbour. When last did you assist any of these categories of people: the widows or widower, the orphans, the blind, lame or the dumb. How about your pastor who labour in the word and doctorine. Start today, love your neighbour as yourself is the Lord's command.
When you are trying to bring back the hand of the time (clock), it's like going back to the irreversible past. Thinking about the past years when you have money, cars, and landed properties, but for ones reason or the other, they are no more. This is bringing sadness to you. Please guard against those thoughts, invite Jesus into your life, and concentrate on your bright future.
To fear the Lord is true wisdom. To have the consciousness of God's presence anywhere and at any place we find ourselves is the divine wisdom. Apply this definition to your life henceforth, and you will be a better Christian.
When you meet anyone who is avoiding bad companions, who is not yielding to temptations, a person who is totally dependent upon God for directions in every area of his life, such persons are people of understanding: you can walk with them. Job 28 v 28
Job was undaunted about his allegiance to God. He said confidently that " though I know that you are the cause of my predicament, but I can not compromise my integrity. Even if you kill me, I will still trust you. " That is the person whose name can not be removed from the book of life. Please be unswerving about your confession of faith in God. Do not allow any trial to change your belief in God.
God is the Almighty. He is perfect in knowledge. He has no beginning, He has no ending. His power has no limits and no boundaries. He is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. He is holy, He is gracious and merciful. PRAISE HIM TODAY AGAIN.
Sing praise songs to God today. Praise Him for His goodness and mercies. Stand and praise Him. Prostrate and praise Him. Exalt the name of the Lord.
Your reaction during trying time will determine whether you still have confidence in God or you have lost it. Avoid transfer aggression. Stop nagging , stop blaming God. You can not understand the reason behind every mishap, but God knows everything. Keep calm, pray to God and keep on believing.
It is the work of the refiner to carefully apply the heat based upon the quality of the metal - for the purer the ore, the greater the heat that can be applied. God will never use impure metal. Because the metal that cannot pass the test of refinement has no value for service. I pray for you that God will give you the needed grace to endure His refining process, and your glory will shine for the world to see. 1 Corinthians 10 v 13.
No man is an island of knowledge. There is no " Mr Know All." If you know all things, you can not have all things. At one point in the journey of life, you will need encouraging words. Sometimes it may not be words but money and at other times good friends especially on your wedding day. I pray for you today that in your life's journey, you will never lack the encouragers. Amen.
Standing by faith in the word of God and commanding things to happen is not limited to Elijah, Elisha, Deborah, Peter, and Jesus. If you are born again, you too have legal grounds by virtue of your salvation to decree good things into existence. You can start now. Job 22 v 28.
There are many things that will not change until you (as a Christian) speak by decree. After Peter prayed for Dorcas, he stood up and decree, "Tabitha , arise." Until he decreed, nothing changed . Rise up now and spend about 30 minutes in aggressive decreed prayers about your life and family. 1 king 17 verse 1.
As all items on display at the supermarket are available for release to anyone who could pay the prices, so are God's blessings available for everyone peradventure we can pay the price. Are you willing? Healing, prosperity, protection, power , etcetera are all available. Make up your mind today for maximum enjoyment of God's blessings. Job 22 v 21-30.
Until you are acquainted ( familiar ) with God, you cannot have the peace and prosperity that He gives. Get familiar with Him today through personal ( consistent) prayer life, study of His word, etc. and start enjoying all His benefits. Job 22 v 21.
Every wicked person who has swallowed your riches, blessings, glory, job et cetera shall vomit it in Jesus name Job chapter 20 verse 15.
It is a fact that the wicked will not go unpunished, and the righteous will not be left unvindicated. Are you righteous, keep serving God, HE will remember you Exodus 12 verses 40-41.
If the wicked people are prospering, do not envy them. The Lord is watching them. Without repentance, their end will be miserable.
Biblically, a redeemer is a relative with a great affection who came to protect, defend help in times of trouble, and vindicate a suffering kinsman. That's who Jesus is to me. How about you? There is no good thing you desire that He cannot provide for you. Please accept Him today as your Lord and Saviour Job 19 v 25.
Who is a spiritual baby? A spiritual baby is any person who is born again, may / may not yet be Sprit filled but is attending bible studies, prayer meetings, listening to messages on tapes , phones and social media but he occasionally fights, uses abusive languages and is repenting daily etc. Unlike such , Job did not have access to all these spiritual materials. Please don't die a spiritual baby, awake today, and grow unto maturity. Thank you.
You were born to achieve great exploits. You are at your preface, not introductory, nor even chapter one. Why are you thinking of death because of that sickness. I pray for you today that the ground will not cover your blood Job 16 verse 18. You will fulfil your dreams in Jesus name.
In Job 17 verse 1, Job concluded that the grave was waiting for him, but God's conclusion was that Job would live and recover everything that he lost double fold . Eventually, he did not die. In that predicament that you find yourself now, I prophesy to you that YOU WILL NOT DIE IN JESUS NAME. Amen.
When the person who is sent to comfort is ignorant of important information about the person he is coming to comfort, he becomes a miserable comforter. He will add more wounds to the injury. When next you are set to comfort anyone in a sorrowful situation, please have all the facts ( be skilled, be competent) about the matter before you talk. Thank you.
For a dry root of a tree to suddenly start supplying water to the stem after three years and the stem grows to become a tree, it is scientifically impossible but Divinely possible. Trust God for your impossible case , invite God to step in today through your prayers. Job 14 v 7-9.
When fiery trials come to a child of God and he/she starts thinking of compromise to get himself/herself out of the challenges, it is a matter of ROOTS. Are you deeply rooted in Christ, in His words, in personal prayers? If not, start today. Nobody is excempted from challenges. Your ability to withstand life challenges will show how rooted you are in Him. Colossians 2 v 7.
If you can SINCERELY remove sin from your life, then the arm of the Lord will speedily come to grant answers to all your requests. Do that now and see God open the doors of favour, mercy, and grace for you. Job 11 verses 13 - 19.
Life is short, and it is full of trouble. Someone came into the world and overcame all troubles. If you want to be free from life troubles , please GIVE YOUR LIFE TO JESUS. He will fix it for you.
Whatever God allowed to happen, whatever burden that comes, even if God should kill Job, he believed ultimately that God would not fail him. Job 13 v 15.
Oftentimes, the prosperous people look down on the poor and needy as unfortunate settlements of people. Those who married and have children without delay see the barren as unsuccessful. Those who are called into Ministry at early stage of life see those who started late as lazy Pastors. Remember that the God of Jeremiah is also the God of Moses. Please don't mock anyone.
Can you farthom the depth of God's works? Can you understand His ways ? You can not comprehend His ways. The red sea that parted, the Manna from above, the wall of Jericho that fell, the way your nails and hairs on your head grows and the different finger prints on ALL human hands et cetera. Spend one hour today and praise God for His wonderful works
Are you born again? Are you saved? Are you consistently running the heavenly race? Yet you have challenges. Don't give up. God sent me to inform you from His words this morning that you will NEVER BE ABANDONED. Job 8 v 20.
When you have a friend but do not understand His character , you will have frequent quarrels. We were born differently and trained differently. The environment in which we grew up also matters. To avoid frequent misunderstandings, spend time studying people that you associate with frequently. Pray for those with bad habits, too.
God sometimes allows us to pass through a dark time of trial when He himself remains silent, but in the midst of this, He has a plan for our lives. Keep trusting Him. He cannot totally abandon you.
Sometimes, you could pick a lesson from someone who had once misguided you. Patiently listen to people who offer you counsel so as to be able to extract some good points.
It is possible not to experience catastrophe or calamity. In the name of Jesus, by the blood of Jesus and the written word of God. I pray for you in the name of Jesus that you shall be excempted from catastrophe in the name of Jesus. Amen.
The calamity that befell Job was uncommon. He had never seen any righteous man who suffered like that. All came suddenly without prior revelation or vision. It was painful boils all over his body. May God strengthen us to overcome life challenges in Jesus name. Amen.
Job's greatest anguish was this: that God was against him and he did not know. Can we blame him? He had no premonition, no revelation, or dream to show that such a thing would happen to him. If you are in such a situation, examine yourself, trust God, and keep serving Him. Solution will come.
Today is GOOD FRIDAY. It shall be unto you and your family A GOOD FRIDAY INDEED. Everyday of your life shall be good days. Join us today and let us pray from Job chapter 5 reading from verses 17 to 26. Thank you.
The crafty are the wicked ones. They are the enemies of progress. From time immemorial, God had been frustrating their counsel. If you are on the Lord's side , He will frustrate their evil plans over you and your family in Jesus name. Amen.
Dedicate one hour of praise personally to God your maker before Easter Monday to sing, dance, jubilate before Him. He killed and makes alive. He does whatever pleases Him in heaven. For Him, sparing your life, is a miracle. Praise the Lord.
It is not everyone who is close to you who will understand your challenges . Job's friends did not understand what he was going through. Even Peter did not understand why Jesus should die. The man that was born blind in John 9, it was not because of the single of any of his parents. Anytime you do not understand your friend's challenges, do not conclude that it must be his sin. Keep praying for him.
Eliphaz, Job's friend, said, " how can you who is righteous be suffering? Know this very well, that sometimes, those who are totally committed to Christ could suffer, BUT God will not totally abandon them. Almost all missionaries suffer initially but God will surely see them through. Trust Him today.
Apart from God our Creator , whom we call upon for assistance; true friends are also needed when you are in distress. Imagine a strong wind blowing off the roof of a house at a time when you just invested a huge amount on a new business. Who would you call for immediate assistance? Please surround yourself with good friends. Thank you.
Silence is golden. As a leader, the act of listening empowers you. Avoid criticism on matters that you do not have clear understanding. Ask questions and listen when answers are coming. Learn to listen a lot and be brief in your utterances. Psalm 141 verse 3.
It is not easy to go through pains of fresh wounds from accidents, fire burns, diabetic sores, cancerous infections et cetera. But God helped Saint Job. Whatever distress you are going through, God will strengthen you and give you victory over them in Jesus name. Amen.
After Job had been afflicted with boils from head to toe, he expressed the pain but in all his lamentation, he did not speak in defiance against God. In whatever painful situation we are going through, let us learn to control our emotions.
Marriage vows are quickly made on the wedding days. No one forsee distress; but it will surely come. What we become after distress - our approach to it , where we seek solution and how we end up afterwards is of paramount importance. Please hold on to Christ.
Faithfulness to God does not guarantee the righteous from trouble, pain and suffering in their lives. If a righteous drives recklessly, his vehicle may be impounded. If he is not disciplined in his eating habits, he may have serious health problems et cetera. If the righteous will suffer, let it not be because he committed sin.
Blessed is the man that endure temptation; for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life; which the Lord promised to those who loved Him. James 1 verse 12.
To be successful in life, you need eleven things: God's presence, power, money, wisdom, good husband/wife, godly children, God's blessings, leading of the Holy Spirit, faith, destiny helpers and sound health. If anyone is lacking, please pray until you have it.
Too many times, we permit a wrong attitude towards our trials. We tend to lament, pity ourselves, compare ourselves with others et cetera. This is not the attitude God expected from us. Trials purify our faith, produce patience and perfect our character. Let's pray for grace to bear the trials. In the end, God's name will be glorified.
Distress or challenges are part of life. Wishes and prayers cannot stop them, but they can help resolve them when they come. To overcome distress, come to Jesus today. He will make a way for you. John 14 v 6.
As men are writing attestation letters about students on admissions into higher institutions of learning, so is God also writing about men. Consider Job's own: I can attest to his....that there is no one like him on earth. He is upright, perfect and hated anything evil.. What can God say about you?
Heaven is not the only benefit of serving the Lord. There are additional benefits such as: a hedge (wall of fire) around us, blessings of God on our works, the name of Jesus and His blood as a weapon, angels of God to guide us, Holy Spirit with His 7 fold duties (helper, strengthener, standby ...). The word of God and your faith. Put them to work, there will be testimonies. Job 1 v 10.
God who gave Jesus for your salvation is the same God who gives us the power to get wealth. Deut. 8 v 18. There are certain things godliness will get you done, and there are things that only money can provide for you . I pray that you will not lack any of the two in Jesus name.
In the Old Testament, Satan had occasional access to God's presence whereby he could question the sincerity and righteousness of a believer. Under the New Testament, he no longer has direct access to the God. If you are born again, you can restrict satanic presence or influence on you or around you. James 4 v 7, Ephesians 6 v 10-18. The question is " ARE YOU BORN AGAIN?
Show me someb9dy who has not decided, I will show you somebody who has no identity, no personality, and no direction. What you commit yourself to will change what you are and make you into a completely different person.
God was looking for a man with a difference: faultless, honest, God-fearing , trustworthy, righteous and a man of discipline and diligence. He found Job. Can God find you? Job 1 verse 1.
Our time on earth is short, and the short stay is full of troubles. It is good that a man struggled and succeeded. Not only succeeded but affects others by his successful feats. May that be your story in Jesus name. Esther 10 vs 1-3.
After labour, favour. That was what God did for the Israelites. They fasted for 3 days and night. God answered them beyond their expectations. I enjoin you to be hardworking and honest. Then, wait patiently on God. Answers will come.
Your graduation day, the day you got married, the day you had your first baby, the days you: bought your first car, packed into your house, first landed in America, etc are RED LETTER DAYS. It is not good that a man was born and he had sorrowful experience throughout life. Of course, the greatest red letter day is the day you are born again. Are you born again?
There are some miracles that God does occasionally that makes people change their citizenship. Some pagans had turned believers overnight, not by preaching but by the wonderful works of God. As you are reading this statement or listening to this episode , I pray that God will give you those types of miracles in Jesus name.
It makes someone sad anytime his/her good intention is mistaken for evil. Such was the case with Haman, who was prostrating to beg queen Esther, who was lying on the couch. The king thought he wanted to molest ( sexually abuse) her. Please let's stop devising evil for our neighbour because it will backfire. That was what Haman reaped.
The leader IN control is God, the leader UNDER control is any of the children of God and the leader OUT OF control is a sinner who has lost control over his life because he belongs to Satan. Are you a leader under control, is Jesus your Saviour? If not surrender to him today?
After the completion of 3 days dry fasting, Esther went to the King uninvited, and she was favoured. I pray for you today that your spiritual exercise shall attract God's favour. Your fastings and prayers will not go unnoticed. God will shower His grace and abundant blessings upon you. Testimonies will follow your prayers in Jesus name. Amen
Selfish ambition is like cancer. It is deadly, it brings untimely death and it is a grevious sin. It sends Absalom on a mission of untimely death. It made Belshazzar lose his kingdom. It almost cause rancour among the disciples if not for Jesus' intervention. Please get rid of it. It has sent many to hell.
When the Providence of God is at work, the king who controls 127 provinces could not sleep because someone's appointed time has come. God still cares for His own. Relax if you are God's child. If you are doing His will and you are going through challenges, keep praying , He will remember you. Esther 6 verse 1.
Strategic planning is the key to warfare; to win, you need a lot of good counsel Proverb 24 v 6 MSB. Plans succeed through good counsel. Who is your counsellor?
Although Haman has riches, glory, power and status; he was a discontented man because he had a 'but' that always puncture his joy , Spirit of hatred. How about you? Jealousy, stealing, anger, immorality etc. Please remove it from your character before it removes your name from the list of heavenly candidates. Thank you.
It was by spiritual exercise of fasting and prayer that the Jews obtained unlimited favour . I pray that as you are embarking on your spiritual exercise ( fasting, prayers, evangelism, intercessory prayers et cetera) , God will grant you unlimited answers in Jesus name. Esther chapter 5.
How can you allow ONE person to be making you sad everyday? Sometimes, you remember the goodness of God to you and you are singing to the Almighty God BUT the moment you see or receive calls from the person ( mortal), you forget the goodness of the Immortal !!. That is disdainful spirit. Avoid it. Please ask for grace and forgive the person. Esther 5 v 9-10.
Have you had victory in any life challenges? Have you recently been given a large sum of money? Have you just bought a car worth several millions? , then, you need wisdom to handle your testimonies; otherwise, those w!ho listened to the testimonies might be the brain behind your kidnap. Be wise. Micah 7 v 5-6.
Evert leaders must be able to practice the law of sacrifice. They must be willing to give up in order to go up. God will not honour those who remain silent in order to protect their place or position, but He will honour those who for the sake of God and His words speak the truth in the face of great loss.
When the purpose of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable. Mordecai reminded Queen Esther, the reason for her position, David knew why he came to the battlefield. Why are you a principal, a nurse, a car owner, a pastor ? et cetera. Sit down and ponder on these life questions and fulfil your dreams quickly.
The good works of Mordecai was rewarded by God Esther 6 . The good Lord will also remember your good works and reward you abundantly in Jesus name. Never stop doing good.
One of the primary focus of God whenever we come to Him in prayer is the state of our hearts. It is not even the posture nor our articulated speech. When next you have a matter to present before God, humble yourself and remember it is God that can fix it for you. Esther 4 v 1-3.
All TRUE Christians are a chosen generation. They are people distinct from the world. They are of another spirit, principle and practice because they are God's ambassadors on earth. Today, as you go out as Christians, remember to show forth the glory of God in your manner of dressing, eating, speech et cetera.
We ALL need to be careful ( very well advised) before signing documents. Otherwise, you will get yourself entangled.
Haman knew that Mordecai was not willing to respect him as a chieftain in the empire. His original intention was to kill him but upon enquiry, he knew that he was a Jew. He changed his mind and decided to eliminate all Jewish nationality. Don't you do this at times when one of your children offends you; for a minor misunderstanding between you and your neighbours, don't you engage in 3 days dry fasting to deal with him or her. In everything, avoid overdo.
Apostle Peter was imprisoned, the church prayed, and an angel came to release him. King Hezekiah was sick, he prayed God added 15 years to his lifespan. Daniel prayed, secrets were revealed to him. As you pray today, God will answer you. As I pray for you too, God will favour you. Esther 2 v 17. Good morning 5
Mordecai was following up on Esther daily to know how she was faring and what her future life will be. Pastor's, parents, C.E.Os. are you constantly following up on people whom God has given to you?
By saying less than necessary, you create the appearance of meaning and power. Also, the less you say, the less risk you run of saying something foolish or even dangerous. He that keeps his tongue, keeps his/her life.
God can raise anybody. He has raised many nonentities and made them an entity. He raised Abram, Gideon, Jephthah, Ruth, David, Solomon, Amos, and even Saul. Just surrender yourself to Jesus. Give up sin, and embrace Jesus. He will give you a lifting.
God has His pattern of working. He sees beforehand and orchestrates events to accomplish His purpose. He looks for a man who will submit to Him and make use of that individual to accomplish His purpose. May He find you today and use you to accomplish His purpose on earth. Amen.
Esther had no father or mother. She got to the throne. She had no green card, yet she became a queen in a strange land. She was a war captive, yet she was crown a queen because God arranged it for her. I PRAY FOR YOU THAT BY DIVINE GRACE AND FAVOUR, YOU WILL GET TO THE THRONE THAT GOD HAS FOR YOU IN JESUS NAME.
No person is totally essential. If not by natural force, God in His divine power can replace anyone at any time. Most times, when the CEO of the organisation died suddenly, the organisation suffers temporary setbacks, but with time, this will be overcome. Most one minute silence are just 30, 40 or 50 seconds silence and work continues. Please be humble.
God has season and times for everything. Likewise, in all life endeavours, there are seasons and times. If God has called you into ministry, you need to pray so as to know which type of ministry, when to start, where to start ( location), and how to start. No man is an island of knowledge. Ask questions.
Abraham Lincoln once said, " places where alcoholic beverages are sold and used, are the first places a police officer will look for crime, and the last places he will look for virtue.
Anything done excessively mostly ends up with shame. For 180 days, King Ahaseurus was displaying his wealth, and for 7 days, he organised a feast of unrestricted eating and drinking. The feast ended with a disgrace. In any of our life celebrations, let us be considerate, temperate, and modest. Whatever you achieve in life, remember that it is by God's grace. Avoid excessive merriment.
The Lord will favour you, He will remember you for good, the Lord will give you instances of voluntary assistance over your projects. Everyone who is assisting you shall surely be blessed. It is well with you in Jesus name.
There are times when leaders, if they are genuinely people of God, must have a holy anger towards unrighteousness and take drastic steps to correct an evil situation. Gentleness and meekness in the face of blatant disregard of God's will are in reality, weakness and compromise.
Every successful leaders are well organised personnel. Organising is a paramount skill in leadership. Ability to get the right people in position and ensuring that they are doing what will lead to the achievement of the goal of the organisation is called organisation. As a father, mother , H.O.D. , C.E.O, Pastor, Prophet et cetera you must get yourself training in organisational skills.
Integrity is a vital department in the faculty of Holiness. Integrity means purity, sincerity, honesty, uprightness, decency et cetera. If you have not earned the trust of people by constantly keeping your words and being true to the values you espose, then your Integrity is questionable.
Encouragement is a key virtue that all leaders must have. As a leader, you must know how to encourage your followers in critical times. Remember that you are leading all clauses of people with diverse attitudes.
