So much Christian work today has never been disciplined, but has simply come into being by impulse! In our Lord’s life every project was disciplined to the will of His Father. There was never the slightest tendency to follow the impulse of His own will as distinct from His Father’s will— “the Son can do nothing of Himself…” (John 5:19).

There are some things over which we are not to fight, but only to “stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord…” (see Exodus 14:13). Choosing to suffer means that there must be something wrong with you, but choosing God’s will— even if it means you will suffer— is something very different. When we first begin to form a habit, we are fully aware of it. This is being made primarily for the What'sApp family in the D.H.L. Ministries group, but I will share it here also on the podcast site. I just want to share MORE of what the Lord shows me. MORE than the time I am able to share on the radio... There is always MORE than can be shared in any venue: whether it be radio, television, YouTube, or even from a pulpit in a church. Giving access to the notes I take and also sharing the resources I use and have used is so important.
