Welcome to the Underground! We are a church focused on training and challenging the body of Christ to rise up and take their place. We have the heart to chase after God and the humbleness to let Him correct us.
After being fed up with "standard" church, I felt the Lord tell me to step out and make a church that sought His word and followed His leading. The Lord is not quiet and is still speaking today. Will you listen and hear what He has to say?

How many times do we struggle in our lives when a day feels difficult or things aren't going our way? I start to question if God is still for me or if He has forsaken me. That isn't the case, surely. Let's look into the aspects of God's favor — can you lose it, earn it, and everything between.
There are details in the Bible that we take for granted and gloss over in every reading. It's these same details that seem insignificant but lead to huge revelations in our lives. One such instance is the importance of the profession of the Christ that He spent 30 years working in and spending time around.
How often do we experience frustration in our walk? The answer is all the time! I struggled with it just recently and went to the Word to understand what it says about it, how to handle it, and God's response to my cries for help.
We look for miracles everywhere. They are one of the most exciting things about being a Christian and a manifestation of God's power in our lives, though they aren't everything. Reset your expectations of God, and you won't be disappointed!
2024 is the year for joy. Joy doesn't mean all smiles and bubbly laughter (nothing ever feels that easy). The Lord has told us that we will struggle, but there is one promise for this year that the enemy doesn't want: an increase in the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life!
There comes a point in our lives as Christians that we make the choice to choose Jesus. It is at this point we step from darkness to light, and transformation happens. When we love the light, others see the change and wonder why. It's because we have touched the depths of darkness (whether depression, anxiety, violence, etc.) and appreciate where the light of the Lord has brought clarity.
Around Christmas, we hear all about a baby Jesus, mangers, donkeys, stars, and shepherds. Yet there is way more to learn from the same old story. The Bible is the Living Word of God, and this year we are looking at Jesus from a whole different angle. Revelation abounds!
According to Proverbs, God has made the seeing eye, and there are many examples in the Word of His people using their eyes of faith to great effect. How do we see with eyes of faith and use them as they were intended? How might I see that which faith allows?
"Identity in Christ" is such a common Christianese word, and we hear it all the time, but do we even know what it means? I was asking the Lord the same question, and He showed me all of my skills, abilities, successes and failures. None of these things impacts our identity in Christ. We all share the same identity found in Him. Listen as the Lord broke it down so simply that even I could understand!
There is a clear reason why testimony is the strongest weapon in our Christian arsenal—they are living stories of a living God doing amazing things. No stories I tell have quite the same impact nor have the same power even decades later.
I have come a long way but am able to look at the pros and cons of church without finger-pointing and blame-placing. It took healing, but with these two easy steps, we will see the world change.
He intercedes on our behalf, was beaten, bloodied, killed. All this, and yet He is still our best advocate before the throne of God. Will the sacrifices of Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit ever be enough to satisfy me?
I have spent way too much time trying to understand what God is calling me to do and being frustrated at not feeling that I landed on the right answer – until now! Would you believe me if I told you that we all have the same important calling?
We talk about the perks and joys of living forever in Heaven, but do we really contemplate living FOR forever on earth? Meaning, do we strive to build the Kingdom of God here on earth as God charged us to do? Jesus said the Kingdom of God is at hand, let us live that way here and now!
A Kingdom divided falls. So, why do we see other Christians as the enemy? Requirements, hurts, resentments, and more all have to be put away and start seeing each other as we really are – brothers and sisters building the Kingdom together.
There isn't a good time to hide from God. Everything you are searching for is found in God. Searching for peace, strength, hope? Run as fast as you can, because all of it is where God is!
Peace is deeper than we have ever known. We search for it everywhere in our daily lives as the struggle is real. God reminded me that true, complete, whole peace is only found in one place – Him.
Young or old, our purpose stays the same for the Gospel. Run the race to its completion and never let off the gas! You have a purpose and a mission, and it's an important one.
We focus so many times on the highs of the mountains and find ourselves in the valleys. Let's change our perspective and focus on the One who put the mountains in their place.
How the Lord used a simple tree-climbing episode to make me aware of how I treat His faithfulness.
It usually feels like we struggle to hear God's voice, and no matter how many books we read, it never seems to get easier. Listen to how I have found the best way to hear God's voice on my 30-day journey.
We are in a war, and demonic attacks can happen at any time. I am not invulnerable and recount my most recent attack and how God works amidst the pain and turmoil.
God made us unique and wonderful, but we focus on all our cracks and flaws. It's in the Potter's hands that all our mistakes are made beautiful.
How do I rely on the Lord when I feel like most things in my life are within my control? Reliance is a hard lesson to learn but essential to our walk!
How do I trust God, because in every difficult moment of my life I haven't seen the cold, heartless God that I imagine, but a loving God that emotes.
