In this Bible study we are studying Josiah's reign and why we need to become a generation of Josiah's moving in this world! Repent and turn back to Jesus! I fear as a generation that the wrath of God is boiling. I pray that we turn lives back to Jesus and turn lives away from the pagan and worldly ways.
Please pray that daily. Pray that in a mass exit comes leaders for Christ instead of people of the world.

Have you noticed that life has become hard... things are happening that you do not understand WHY or even HOW they continue to happen this way? In the midst, we sometimes do not realize what is going on with our life. Lean into the Lord, pray, and study the word. Hello and happy new year! I wanted to start the year in Bible study that has to do with the denying of Jesus. There is a lot of that going on in this world. I believe that Christians should be well equipped and prepared in case they would come into a situation such as this. Peter, who was with Jesus and was friends with Jesus on earth denied him because of FEAR! This scripture is to remind us that we need to pray for the courage and strength to glorify the Lord, not deny him in the days to come.

In Matthew chapter 5 there are so many great points made by Jesus to those who are for and against him. In this chapter Jesus tells us that he is come to fulfill the prophecy that was preached by many of the prophets of the New Testament. Psalm 63 stuck out to me one day in the middle of one of my bible studies. While it was only supposed to be a verse in the study, I was intrigued to read the rest of the Psalm. It was worth it, as always. This Psalm tells us so much when it comes to yearning and seeking God and more about David's relationship with God. The ending of the Psalm speaks about how we will be sought out because we are believers but will be protected from those who do not speak of the Lord and spread lies about the Lord... even of us.

I have not focused on the full chapter of Deuteronomy 31... Until after the last episode. WHY did I not pay attention to the full chapter until NOW?! Maybe because God needed to put it in my life now instead of earlier. At least that is what I feel like he is telling me. God does NOT turn from us until we have turned from HIM. This episode is about perfectionism. This episode is also not perfect either... But, that is the point! Perfection is not constant! It will never be. There is NO ONE out there that is PERFECT 100% of the time, EXCEPT JESUS! In this episode we talk about Moses and Peter. Why these two? Moses started, before God started to use him to lead the Israelites, out his adulthood with a murder of all things! His speech was slow and not proper! Then he and Aaron ruined their chances of getting into the Promised Land when they deliberately disobeyed God! Peter on the other hand said at the last supper that he would never deny Jesus! Then Jesus told him that he would deny him three times BEFORE the cock crowed. When Peter denied him the third time he cursed THEN denied Jesus... not long after the denial... the cock crowed.
God will use those who are not perfect to do wonderous things. We will never be 100% perfect in our life and our faith. But, we need to be open with our wrongdoings and realized we will never be perfect but God will still love us.
