The Spoiled Broth is the new born podcast-baby of Yahaira Brito Morfe and Jemimah Vaughan. Two visual artists, commenting on things we're probably not fully educated on. We'll be discussing all things arts, culture and, most likely, politics. Each episode will be recorded across the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, and straight into your ears!
In this episode we are joined by Junction co-founders and artists, Lili Ullrich (@sickschnitzl) and Ratri Notosudirdjo (@saynotosu). Based in Rotterdam, Junction is a upcoming platform which intersects art, research, and grass-roots mapping. Their main focus is on uplifting and amplifying the anti-colonial activities happening in Rotterdam. Hop into this big bowl of Spoiled Broth for our first ever interview! We chat about the shared highs and lows of artistic collaboration, the power of collective knowledge and knowing when you're bad at something. Of course, there is also some poop talk.

In this episode, we discuss how Alegria (also known as Big Tech Art Style, Globohomo, and Corporate Memphis) has become synonymous with the illegal behaviour of harmful corporations. Jemimah also tells us about her early obsession with Club Penguin.

Get ready, this is a big beef-filled episode of art-world anger. After many of you requested it, the duo is back to justify our battle against Banksy. We reply to a listener submitted commentary on our, controversial, previous episode. Let’s just say, we get all art-critic on you. John Lennon, art making in capitalism, and the question of morality all get a mention.
In this second episode we have a natter about how Brexit will affect arts and culture, and the hardships of being an artist in the current political climate. Most importantly, of course, we speak about our undying hatred of Banksy. Warning, we get angry and loud. This episode is, to be frank, a jumble of confusion, and unanswered worries. It took a long time to edit because we had to cut all the recordings of us having mental breakdowns due to the topic. Yahaira also tells us the story of the time she was “flashed” by a bus driver.
