After a 2 / 3 week break the pod returns to find one half of the pod emotionally stable again after Graham Potter and Co left the AMEX HQ for better times in West London.
Football, Rugby, NFL, Golf, Tennis and F1. You name it we talk about it this week (other than cricket which we forgot about).
The delicate topic of fantasy football also appears as per where one half of the pod remains close to tears at the perceived 'luck' being enjoyed by others.
Its transfer deadline day and there's not much more to say.
Golf returns to the forefront with Rory winning a cool $18m over in the Fedex Tour Championship while LIV continue to make waves with the announcement of the world number 2 joining the rebel tour.
Finally we look back at Max winning the Belgium Grand Prix at a canter and provide the normal fantasy football update where one member of the Pod had what can only be described as a 'school boy error'.
A depressing week in the world of sport as Utd manage to find a performance against an AWOL Liverpool side. Elsewhere in the Prem half the pod is happy as Brighton contiune to defy expectations and pick up points everywhere they go.
With the world of sport seemingly picking up again the pod covers the fight between Joshua and Usyk, looks forward to the Belgium Grand Prix after the F1 summer beak ends, talks through the opening day of the 2nd test between England and South Africa and looks at the closing week of the PGA Tour.
We also of course take a look at the situation in the world of fantasy football where despite hours of research half of the pod it turns out knows nothing about selecting a team........
Liverpool aka Darwin Nunez are useless, Goodway is useless at fantasy and Man Utd of course are the most useless.
Its the normal Premier league round up with Utd, Everton, Chelsea, Spurs and Graeme Souness taking centre stage.
Elsewhere we touch on the situation in boxing and raise the topic of Cam Smith heading to the LIV tour.
Deja vu strikes as Manchester United once again take the staring role in this weeks pod with their terrible efforts against Brighton las we review the opening weekend of the Premier league season.
As its the 30th anniversary of the Premier league we also select our all time Prem XI's with some dubious calls from one half of the pod.

We run through all the teams giving our predictions for the upcoming 2022/23 Premier League season with a surprising level of agreement.
We of course also look back at England winning the Womens Euro's and have the almost bi weekly laugh at the Ferrari strategy team.
The final major of the season didnt fail to disappoint as we of course discuss the big talking points from the weeks action up in St Andrews asking the obvious question ......Did Rory bottle it or did Cam win it?
Elsewhere we look back at the Home Nations signing off their respective series in the Southern Hemisphere and where this leaves them ahead of next years world cup, ask how England have managed to flip their respective performances in red and white ball cricket, touch on the two F1 races since our last pod before ending this week looking back at this years Wimbledon and asking if Djokovic is now the GOAT?
After months of two 'wanna be decent golfers' talking the pod welcomes a PROPER golfer to the stage as Marco Penge who qualified for the 150th Open Championship taking place next week at St Andrews joins for a chat.
We pick his brains to find out what life is really like in the ruthless world of professional golf, the highs and low along the journey, ask how on earth you keep it together coming down the stretch when in contention to qualify for a major before looking at aims for next week.

After a two week break we discuss the situation unfolding in the golfing world as the LIV series contiunes to hoover up players worldwide while Matt Fitzpatrick wins big across the pond in impressive fashion.
Moving on we talk through Lewis Hamilton's endless moaning and how this F1 season is generally unfolding, the football transfer merry go round and the announcemnt from FINA on transgender competitors.
We round out this week with our teams and manager of the Premier League season.

This weeks pod is nearly entirely taken up with a look back at the Premier league final standings with each teams effort discussed and graded. No spoilers for guessing Utd's score on the A to F metric........
We also touch on the LIV golf event which has seen one major US star cross the pond for a quite astonishing payday.
After a two week break the pod returns to round up the frankly rude behaviour of Man City in denying Liverpool the title while we reflect on Leeds beating the drop and Brighton ending the season in the top half.
Away from the Premier League we talk through the first active footballer to come out as Gay in Britain for 30 years, Mbappe signing a new deal at PSG, the Europa league final, the behaviour of fans / pitch invasions and the play off situations.
We of course then move to F1 where Max and RB have taken the lead in the driver champs before ending with a look back at the PGA where Justin Thomas proved his class (having been tipped by one of the hosts).
After the hilarious nature of City bottling the Champions League it was Liverpools turn to make a mess of a fixture which seemingly puts the title out of reach. Elsewhere the small matter of Brighton dispatching Utd is discussed while Leeds are seemingly keenly eyeing up a return to the Championship. On the lower leagues we take a quick stroll through the play offs touching on the madness of Bristol Rovers before rounding out talking about Rangers efforts to make the Europa league final.
Away from football we do the usual round up of F1, cricket and golf with a look especially at the upcoming LIV event in the UK.

They say a weeks a long time in politics although these people should check the sporting world frankly.
In this weeks episode we discuss Joe Root stepping down, a new player entering F1, boxing taking the headlines, European football action , the Premiership relegation picture and wonder if City will actually drop any points or if Liverpool are destined to be the ultimate bridesmaids.
Dropping down the leagues we look at the promotion movers and shakers before touching on the upcoming play off situations.
We start by discussing the elephant in the room that is Man Utds efforts at Quad bound Liverpool before looking at North London conquering Brighton and the rest of the premier legaue results where clearly no one is interested in claiming 4th spot.
We then look back at the Europa results where the possibility of an all British final remains firmly in play before rounding out this week with the RBC Heritage on the PGA tour and look forward to the Imola GP this weekend.
With much to catch up on since our last general look at the sporting world we go over last weeks Champions League efforts before looking at the little known planned changes to the tournament. Turning to domestic matters we look through the Premier league's weekend results with repercussions at both ends of the league with a focus on Brightons efforts at Arsenal and Citehhh and Liverpool's draw.
