After a 2 / 3 week break the pod returns to find one half of the pod emotionally stable again after Graham Potter and Co left the AMEX HQ for better times in West London.

Football, Rugby, NFL, Golf, Tennis and F1.  You name it we talk about it this week (other than cricket which we forgot about).

The delicate topic of fantasy football also appears as per where one half of the pod remains close to tears at the perceived 'luck' being enjoyed by others.

Its transfer deadline day and there's not much more to say.

Golf returns to the forefront with Rory winning a cool $18m over in the Fedex Tour Championship while LIV continue to make waves with the announcement of the world number 2 joining the rebel tour.

Finally we look back at Max winning the Belgium Grand Prix at a canter and provide the normal fantasy football update where one member of the Pod had what can only be described as a 'school boy error'.

A depressing week in the world of sport as Utd manage to find a performance against an AWOL Liverpool side.  Elsewhere in the Prem half the pod is happy as Brighton contiune to defy expectations and pick up points everywhere they go.

With the world of sport seemingly picking up again the pod covers the fight between Joshua and Usyk, looks forward to the Belgium Grand Prix after the F1 summer beak ends, talks through the opening day of the 2nd test between England and South Africa and looks at the closing week of the PGA Tour.

After months of two 'wanna be decent golfers' talking the pod welcomes a PROPER golfer to the stage as Marco Penge who qualified for the 150th Open Championship taking place next week at St Andrews joins for a chat.

We pick his brains to find out what life is really like in the ruthless world of professional golf, the highs and low along the journey, ask how on earth you keep it together coming down the stretch when in contention to qualify for a major before looking at aims for next week.

After a two week break we discuss the situation unfolding in the golfing world as the LIV series contiunes to hoover up players worldwide while Matt Fitzpatrick wins big across the pond in impressive fashion.

After a two week break the pod returns to round up the frankly rude behaviour of Man City in denying Liverpool the title while we reflect on Leeds beating the drop and Brighton ending the season in the top half. 

Away from the Premier League we talk through the first active footballer to come out as Gay in Britain for 30 years, Mbappe signing a new deal at PSG, the Europa league final, the behaviour of fans / pitch invasions and the play off situations.

We of course then move to F1 where Max and RB have taken the lead in the driver champs before ending with a look back at the PGA where Justin Thomas proved his class (having been tipped by one of the hosts).

After the hilarious nature of City bottling the Champions League it was Liverpools turn to make a mess of a fixture which seemingly puts the title out of reach.  Elsewhere the small matter of Brighton dispatching Utd is discussed while Leeds are seemingly keenly eyeing up a return to the Championship.  On the lower leagues we take a quick stroll through the play offs touching on the madness of Bristol Rovers before rounding out talking about Rangers efforts to make the Europa league final.

In this weeks episode we discuss Joe Root stepping down, a new player entering F1, boxing taking the headlines, European football action , the Premiership relegation picture and wonder if City will actually drop any points or if Liverpool are destined to be the ultimate bridesmaids.
