"Covenant vs. Dispensational Theology" In this session we do a “fly over” of one of the most contentious theological divisions within Christianity in the West: Covenant Theology vs. Dispensational Theology. This division finds its separation point in the questions relating to how God is working out His eternal purposes on earth in history.
"The Calvinists vs. the Arminians" In this session we take a look at the ongoing debate between the Arminians and the Calvinists. Who is ultimately sovereign in the issues of salvation: the individual or Father-God? We take a look at the theology behind the TULIP acronym and get to the core issue: do we really trust God to be wise and good in all that He does?
"What Caused the Great Reformation?" In this session we consider some of the issues that led up to the Great Reformation and the division between the Roman Catholic and Protestant branches of Christianity.
"Who Gets the Last Word?" In our first session we set the context for the rest of the study: What are the Core Issues? How Does Theology Form? and Who Gets The Last Word?
