Prophet Sayyidina Muhammad (s) said in a sahih hadith, ā€œad-deenu naseehaā€ – ā€œReligion is advice.ā€ Religion is not a lecture for a scholar to give and go. It is advice, and advice doesn’t come except through experience. Advice cannot be theoretical.

Sayyidina Shah Naqshaband said, ā€œtariqatuna as-suhbah wal-khayru fil-jam`iyyaā€ – ā€œOur tariqat is association, it is keeping company, sohbah, association, and the best of the gathering is in coming together.ā€ Or it can be said, ā€œOur way is guidance, and the best is in association.ā€ Without association, without advice, there is no way to benefit.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

The children of man either gather for good or for evil.

Our first gathering began in purity on the day of ā€˜Alastubi rabbikum?’, when Allah Almighty asked all souls, ā€˜Am I not your Lord?’, to which every soul affirmed, ā€˜Yes’.

Allah (ļ·») is One and He Loves oneness.

On earth, those whose hearts have been chosen to gather with Guidance, taking the hand of a true Guide, will be dressed with knowledge of knowing themselves.

Knowing yourself is to know Allah (ļ·»).

To know Allah (ļ·») is to be with Allah, to be for Him.

Holy Ramadan Sharif is a month to be with Allah (ļ·»).

When our worst allied enemies are in chains, shaitan locked away and the ego weakened for a whole month, victory is undoubtedly made easy for those sincerely seeking servanthood.

Those who emerge from Ramadan with nothing, are truly cursed, having no one to blame but their heedless selves.

Be busy with Allah (ļ·»), and not with tablespreads of food, shopping and preparations for Eid.

Seek this magnificent month of Divine Mercy, Forgiveness and Salvation earnestly to become a servant of Allah (ļ·») and to break free from slavery to the ego.

Fasting in Ramadan supresses the ego making it easier to build our heart connection with our Guide, being in zikrullah, reciting the Holy Quran, beautifying the nights with Tarawih, Tahajjud, I’tikaf and establishing a constant remembrance of Allah (ļ·») that will, hopefully, last beyond Ramadan.

May we reach to Holy Ramadan in safety and reap its bountiful rewards and the ultimate reward of being only for Allah (ļ·»).
