Located on the north end of Flint, MI, the Sylvester Broome Empowerment Village (SBEV) is a safe haven for youth. SBEV offers free, year round programming, to youth ages 5-17 in the Flint, MI area. Our programs are taught by local professionals who dedicate their time to reinvest their skills and knowledge, and give back to the young people. Our mission is to cultivate leadership capacity. We will serve all people in a dignified manner regardless of gender, race, or religion, and work to empower the youth in Flint and their communities to give them a voice in the world.
