Instead of building your own uber shit component why not just buy one or use one that's free or open source. Don't check that shit in and then leave the company!
You need to verify that your object or thing you're using in your code is in a valid state before you use it.
Instead of learning how to create an HTML form with a submit button, this clown changed the button to a reset button. WTF?
