If I could go back in time in my autism motherhood journey, what would I do differently? Today, I share with you a few things I really wish I could go back and change. Don't worry, this episode isn't all "woe is me" and packed with regrets....instead, it's sort of a call to action on how we can be more intentional TODAY.

Mamas, let's chat about what self care IS, what it ISN'T, and what's keeping us from taking the very best care of ourselves each day!  We all say that we'd DIE for our children, but let's start LIVING for them right here, right NOW.

In this episode I share a few self-care habits I'm really prioritizing in this current season of life.  Plus, we tackle the #1 excuse that holds most of us back from incorporating a self care routine into our daily lives....can you guess what excuse that is??

Thanks for tuning in!  Follow me on IG at @jamielinbrown for daily encouragement and more BTS.  Love you all!

I've often used the analogy/metaphor that the autism journey is more of a marathon, rather than a sprint.  And while I still believe that's true, endless miles of jogging just doesn't inspire joy or creativity in me!  Instead, I really look at my motherhood as Intentional Cross Training.  The more I work on my strength (mind), my cardio/endurance (heart), my flexibility (stretching my limits of what's possible), my nutrition (relationships that fuel me), etc., the more equipped and strong I feel as an autism mama!
