I’ve been a voice actor since 1998, I’ve been full-time for the last several years, and for just as long I’ve had this suspicion that we’re losing good people in this business. Not because they’re not trained, not because they’re not talented, and not because they’re not passionate about voiceover, but because it’s just too damn hard to find the work.

I believe that voiceover should be a meritocracy. That if you’ve trained well, are talented, and are driven to do the work, then you should be able to find work in voiceover and support yourself and your family comfortably.
