Intrinsic motivation refers to the desire to engage in a task or activity for its inherent rewards and satisfaction, rather than for external rewards or pressures. It is the motivation that comes from within oneself and is driven by personal interests, values, and goals. Intrinsic motivation has been linked to improved mental health, increased self-esteem, and greater creativity and productivity.

Depression can cause a lack of motivation, interest, and pleasure in activities, including those that were previously enjoyed. Intrinsic motivation can help counteract this by focusing on finding joy in the task rather than just going through the motions. Practicing mindfulness, meditation, and positive self-talk can help cultivate intrinsic motivation.

A clean and organized home can have a significant impact on mental health and well-being. It can improve time management, financial stability, sleep quality, and relationships with others. It can also be a source of intrinsic motivation, as finding joy and satisfaction in keeping a clean and organized home can lead to a sense of accomplishment and self-worth.

Hello fellow Peace Seekers and welcome to this episode of a guided mindful moment. Today, we will be focusing on the practice of gratitude, which is a powerful tool for improving our mental wellbeing and cultivating a more positive outlook on life. By taking a few moments to reflect on the things we are thankful for, we can shift our mindset away from negativity and towards a more positive and fulfilling way of being.

During this episode, we will guide you through a mindful moment that will help you connect with the feelings of gratitude and appreciation. We will begin by focusing on our breath and allowing ourselves to become fully present in the moment. Then, we will reflect on the things in our lives that we are grateful for, big or small. By the end of this guided practice, you will hopefully feel a renewed sense of appreciation for the all the little things in your life.

So, find a quiet and comfortable place where you can sit or lie down, and let's begin our journey of cultivating gratitude and mindfulness together."  - Namaste -

Today I’d like to take a moment and talk about gratitude. Gratitude is such a vital aspect in our lifelong journey to reaching Nirvana and sometimes we can encounter challenges along the path, those challenges might last longer than we’d hoped - not always but it does happens…

But in those moments, it's crucial to remember the power of gratitude. When we take a moment to reflect on all the good in our lives, it can shift our perspective and help us see things in a more positive light. Practicing gratitude can also help us cultivate a sense of contentment and joy in the present moment, rather than constantly chasing after more.

I would also like to give a special thanks to Rio Peterson for providing the music in today's episode, it offered such a nice ambience to accompany today's episode. If you like his music please feel free to check him out on Spotify and Apple Music by searching his name.
