Episode SEVENTEEN! I talk about grifters without ever using the word grift because I was sleepy!*I would like to use this space to share a list of ways to support the Palestinians in Gaza. Most of my audience across platforms are Americans and our tax dollars are directly supporting and enabling Israel’s attacks on the Palestinian people. Israel’s actions in Gaza are nothing short of a genocide and we should not be afraid to call such. The Gaza strip is a 141 square mile piece of land that is home to around 2.2 million people, making it one of the most densely populated places on the planet. The median age of the Gazan population is 18 years old, 50% being children aged 18 and under. Much of the population is without access to food, water, fuel, electricity, housing, sanitation, etc. due to Israel’s indiscriminate bombing and the blocking of resources by the Israeli government. According to the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, 20,012 Palestinians have been murdered, with 9,077 of them being children. We do not hold the right to lose hope for the people of Gaza and for Palestinians. As they are faced with a genocide that we all can see, we are not in the position to feel hopeless by just seeing their experiences of horrifying treatment. I feel very strongly that we have a responsibility to do what we can. This means to speak up, to share Palestinian voices, to hold compassion and empathy for Palestinian people when much of the world seeks to vilify them and excuse Israel’s actions. If you are American, you can use this link to contact your representatives and urge them to call for a PERMANENT CEASEFIRE NOW. Anyone anywhere can participate in global boycotts and blackouts. Two main companies that people are boycotting for their funding of Israel are Starbucks and McDonalds. You can also donate to foundations like the Palestinian Children's Relief Fund or or buy an e-Sim card for a person in Gaza without access to the internet.Your money means much more than you realize. As does your attention. Everyday, many brave journalists in Gaza risk their lives to document the crimes against the Palestinian people. Follow them and share the information that they post, do not let Gaza be silenced. Plestia Alaqad is a 22 year old journalist from Gaza that reported in Gaza up until she sought refuge elsewhere. She continues to speak about Gaza and Palestine. Lama Jamous is a young Palestinian girl that just turned 9 years old. In witnessing the violence inflicted upon her people she decided to become a journalist and document what is happening. 24 year old Photographer and Journalist, Motaz Azaiza, uses his talents to share with the world the brutality the the Palestinian people are faced with. Bisan Owda is a 26 year old filmmaker and journalist that documents the war and genocide in Gaza as well as shares information about Palestinian culture. Hind Khoudary is a Palestinian journalist from Gaza reporting on the war and genocide. Abod is a 17 year old boy in Gaza that is documenting the violence. (He has not been heard from in a week, please pray for his safety.) Yara Eid is a Palestinian woman from Gaza. She is currently living in London, and she fights for the rights of Palestinians. Please do not let the voices of the Palestinian people go unheard, and do not stop fighting for a free and equal Palestine. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/geimeibao/support

Episode FIFTEEN! I give an incredibly minor life update, talk about @leilafrom5to7 and teaching people things without the intention of being a teacher, the process of everyone projecting their own feeling onto other people by assuming how someone else is feeling and unlearning this process, the very uncanny feeling that consumes me on my birthday, perceptions of God and Gods, and my thoughts on healing. Thank you guys for listening! xx - Leila

Episode FOURTEEN! B*tch I’m back out my coma! Finals are over and I can feel my brain again, so I’m back with another episode. I talk about teas, decreasing depression and delusions, un-becoming my negative thought patterns, Carl Jung and shadow projections, gossiping as a social function, anxiety vs. intuition, unrealistic expectations, the non-linear nature of growth, misrepresentation of karma in an individualistic culture of punishment, and viewing triggers as questions. Etsy shop of stickers and art prints coming soon! Thank you all so much for listening! xx -LeilaNote: In not always having something nice to say, this does not mean be cruel, it means give yourself the space to express your “not-nice” feelings. Don’t just say every negative thought you have about someone/thing to them. Be thoughtful and consider in your expression but do not force yourself to hold in things that “aren’t nice” because you will ultimately end up feeling poorly.my instagrammy substack

Episode THIRTEEN! A conversation with my lovely mutual and digital friend, Hardtooth. There is a strange notion that thirteen is an unlucky number, because of this I find it to be quite lucky, so this is a very lucky episode. Essentially, we are two girls on the phone talking about life, our digital creations, religion, our personality types, good and bad(they don’t really exist), the icky feeling of being copied, rewiring our thoughts and rerouting our behaviours, western misconceptions of karma and what karma actually is, and much more magical chitter-chatter. Thank you all so much for listening!

I have switched from Tumblr to Substack because the Tumblr app's new format was irritating me and Substack feels so put together. Subscribe(for free or not) to my Substack to read my essays and other things.

Episode EIGHT! Did you know that eight is my favourite number? I decided that on my eighth birthday. I haven’t got any real life updates; but I talk about finishing The Four Agreements and how I utilize them, forgiving myself and others, honoring myself, refusing to put myself in a place of self-victimization because I choose to take accountability for my participation in my own life, navigating life and conflicts, jealousy vs. pining(I pine, I long, I yearn), having boundaries, blocking people, not resisting your emotions, depression and transforming it, poorly handled friendship at 15, my friendships now and how deeply I love them, and my unprompted gratitude for life. This space is a truly beautiful one for me, I get to work through my life in a way that is entertaining and that helps people(I hope). Life is my art, love is my practice, tangents are my forte. Thank you all so much for listening! Thank you, as well, to my followers on leilafrom5to7! Much love xx -Leilalala (at 18:36 I meant to say, “people will try to tell you who you are.”)insta: https://www.instagram.com/leilafrom5to7/ tumblr: https://leilafrom5to7.tumblr.com/

I can over and under share if I want to. I can gush if I want to. I can reference direct incidents that affect me if I want to. Episode SIX! Solo episode again. I’m tired of writing these in the third person. In this episode, I speak on grief and fear in relation to love, a meaningful connection of mine, self abandonment, Erykah Badu’s downright ridiculous statements and scope of influence, and witchcraft vs. organized religion.Instagram @ leilafrom5to7

Episode FOUR! Apologies for skipping last week, I recorded an episode with my sisters but I could not responsibly release that… Anyway, I don’t even really know what I’m talking about in this episode. At some point shadow work, grounding vs. centering, religion, manic pixie dream girls, meditation, and desire are all brought up. One day I’ll start honing in on topics, today is not that day. Thank you for listening!
