In this episode of Your Loving Kick in the Pants, I talk openly about grief, why it’s so hard, but also how it can shape us for the better. I share how serving in my church inspired me to bring up grief as a discussion topic after several recent deaths in my community. I remembered losing my father-in-law to cancer and how that experience changed my outlook on life, family, and purpose. Through loss, I’ve learned that grief gives us “stunning awareness”, a deep understanding that forces us to grow, change, and appreciate what really matters.
I also share stories of two other people who changed my life: my friend Steve, whose faith journey showed me what it means to live right up until the very end, and my friend Bee, who inspired me to stay ready to serve and express love through handwritten cards. These memories remind me that even when we’re hurting, grief helps us remember lessons of love, compassion, and service. My loving “kick in the pants” is that we can’t avoid grief, but we can choose to let it make us better, more caring, and more aware of the legacy we’re building.

In this episode, I talked about how social media management really works for business owners. Many people think hiring someone will fix their consistency, but the truth is, you first need to know your own content, your audience, and your goals. I explained that knowing the basics of your business, what you sell, who you sell to, and what makes you different, is the foundation for creating effective posts. Once you’re clear on that, social media becomes less overwhelming and way more powerful.
I also shared my framework for content creation using five pillars: personal life, growth, real talk, wins, and purpose. These pillars help guide what you share and make your posts more relatable and useful. I explained how every post should have a purpose, either nurturing your audience, showing results, or converting people to take action. Social media is free and, when done with strategy, can lead to real sales and long-term business growth.

I shared my journey of starting a business while raising four young kids, and how that shaped the way I balance work and family. I opened up about screen time struggles, the need to create healthy play options, and the reality that I can’t do it all at once. What keeps me going is being clear on my values, setting boundaries, and reminding my kids why I love what I do.
Over the years I’ve learned that balance isn’t about perfection, it’s about integration. I’ve included my daughters in my business, taught them responsibility, and leaned on the support of my husband and community. My hope is to encourage moms to align goals with values, ask for help, and give themselves grace while building both family and business.

In this episode, I celebrated my 10-year anniversary in business and shared the biggest lessons I’ve learned along the way. I talked about starting my business when my kids were very young, the bold steps I took to stand out, and how I slowly built confidence by putting myself out there even when it was uncomfortable. Over the years, I discovered that growth required raising prices, learning new skills, hiring help, and even letting go of toxic people who held me back.
I also shared how I had to keep adapting, through challenges like COVID, shifting my business into alignment with what I loved, writing my book, trying new things that scared me, and learning to manage money better. Looking back, I see how every year taught me a new principle that shaped my journey. My main message is that we are always building a legacy with our choices, and accountability is what keeps us moving forward toward the life and business we truly want.

In this episode of Your Loving Kick in the Pants, I share a short but heartfelt message as I prepare to celebrate 10 years in business. I talk about the ups and downs of entrepreneurship, admitting there were many times I felt like giving up, but the rewards have been worth it. I also give a sneak peek at a future episode where I’ll reveal my top 10 lessons learned, one from each year of my business journey.
Today’s focus is all about community and why it matters so much for entrepreneurs. I highlight my Boss Minded Facebook group, especially our weekly Successful Saturday tradition where members celebrate their wins, both big and small. From new clients to personal milestones, these successes inspire and remind us that we are not alone. I also share about a recent women’s Bunko night I hosted, showing how powerful and uplifting it can be to gather, connect, and build friendships. My final message is a loving challenge: stop waiting to be invited and start showing up, because your people are out there waiting for you too.

In this episode, I share how accountability shows up in my life and business, and I reflect on reaching ten years as an entrepreneur. I talk about how much I’ve grown, not just in building a business but also in shaping a legacy that will last beyond me. I explain how my journey hasn’t been about chasing “success” as the world defines it, but about learning from mistakes, being grateful for growth, and staying true to my values.
I also introduce my upcoming event, Reignite the Light, created for Christian women to connect faith, friendship, and business. I open up about my own complicated relationship with mixing faith and business, why I avoided it in the past, how living in Utah shaped my perspective, and how moving to the South shifted my view. I share stories about scams, MLMs, and cultural pressures, and contrast that with the openness I’ve found in the South where faith and business can blend in healthier ways. Through it all, I emphasize the importance of accountability, anchoring in faith, and choosing what’s good in both life and business.

In this episode, I talk about how to dedicate time to getting things done, especially when life feels busy and overwhelming. I explain that accountability is the key to follow-through, and that we don’t need to do everything alone. Instead, we can lean on coaches, friends, or family for support. I also stress the importance of being bold about sharing what we’re working on and recognizing that accountability isn’t just about pressure, it’s about support, progress, and encouragement.
I then walk through the six steps of the Accountability Code: reflection, humility, planning, implementing, commitment, and feedback. Each step helps us move from thinking about our goals to actually taking action in a manageable way. The main message is that progress doesn’t have to be perfect or massive, just consistent. Even small steps, paired with reflection and support, add up to big changes over time.

In this episode, I talked about confidence, how people see us, and how that affects our growth in both life and business. I shared personal stories, from watching Wednesday with my kids, to getting compliments about my hair, to playing tennis and realizing I was better than I gave myself credit for. The main lesson was that when we accept compliments and believe in ourselves, we show up with more confidence, and that changes how others see us too.
I also dove into business coaching and explained my process of nurture → results → conversion. I explained why nurtured people don’t always buy, and how it takes more than just making people feel good, it also requires showing results and giving clear offers. I gave real client examples to show how this process works and encouraged listeners to look at their own client journeys to see what worked. At the end, I reminded everyone that being authentic and organized makes business much easier.

In this episode, I talk about the common feeling of “everyone’s trying to sell me something” and how to avoid wasting time or money on the wrong solutions. I share my own experiences of jumping into offers too quickly, thinking they were signs, only to regret it later. The key lesson is that if I’m actively solving my own problems, I can spot whether an opportunity truly supports my goals or is just a distraction. I explain the Accountability Code, which starts with reflection, humility, and planning, so I can decide what fits my long-term vision before committing.
I also walk through the second half of the Accountability Code: implementing, commitment, and feedback. I give examples from my business and personal life, like hiring help for projects or finding a cleaning service, to show how important it is to protect boundaries, stay focused, and avoid getting sidetracked by offers that don’t match my needs. By sticking to this process, I make better decisions, keep momentum, and enjoy the work without being pulled in the wrong direction.

In this episode, I talked about BNI (Business Networking International) and how it helped me grow my business. I first discovered it when a friend invited me to her presentation and I found out it was a structured weekly meeting where local business owners share referrals, learn together, and hold each other accountable. I explained their core values like “Givers Gain” and accountability, and how being around serious, supportive people gave me motivation and a sense of community.
I also shared what it’s like to be part of a chapter: showing up every week, continuing to learn, inviting visitors, giving referrals, and meeting one-on-one with other members. BNI has given me both friends and business growth, even though I left for a time when my business changed and later rejoined a group that fit me better. It’s not for everyone, but if you’re willing to show up and give, it can be a powerful tool for your business.

In this episode of Your Loving Kick in the Pants, I shared a story from my book Becoming Boss Minded about how to write copy that actually converts. Even if writing isn’t your main focus, I explained why learning how to guide people’s decisions is so powerful. We talked about how stepping just a little outside your comfort zone, what I call “finding the edge”, is the key to getting results, whether you’re selling, persuading, or just asking people to take action.
I walked through the steps of building great marketing messages, from creating an attention-grabbing headline and subtitle, to connecting with people on a personal level by naming their problems and showing that you understand them. I also explained how to clearly present the solution, share testimonials, and use strategies like urgency, bonuses, and a strong call to action to help people decide. By the end, listeners learned a clear process they can use to write better copy and influence others in an authentic way.

In this episode of Your Loving Kick in the Pants, I shared some thoughts that came to me after attending a BNI business meeting and listening to a podcast during my drive home. I reflected on the difference between acting with intensity and acting with intentionality, especially when it comes to making decisions in business and life. I talked about how easy it is to get excited and jump into things quickly (like I did years ago with Mary Kay), but how much more powerful it is when we pause, plan, and make decisions based on purpose and clarity.
I opened up about past experiences where I made impulsive choices just because someone else planted the idea, and I shared how much I’ve grown by shifting toward intentional living. I also discussed key steps from my book Becoming Boss Minded, like defining your values, staying focused on results, and testing one thing at a time. The main message? It’s okay to be intense, but only after you’ve gotten clear on your direction. When intensity is backed by intention (not impulse), that’s when real success happens.

A follower requested this topic, and I was excited since I'm super extroverted but know many of you aren’t. I explained how introverts can still show up, set boundaries, and make real connections without feeling drained.
I also shared my client Laura’s A to Z business guide and used "MARCI" as an acronym for five powerful steps: master your topic, add value, build relationships, connect consistently, and ignore negativity. I told personal stories and encouraged everyone to try scary things to build confidence and succeed, no matter your personality.

I started because I enjoy connecting, but today I had to vent a bit about all the cold, impersonal DMs I get from people trying to sell without even knowing me. Some are so bad, they don’t even know what state I live in!
But I’m not just here to complain, I shared real tips on how to reach out the right way. Things like starting genuine conversations, offering value, or creating content that helps. Social media is powerful when we use it to truly connect. Let’s grow our businesses by being real, not spammy.

In this episode of Your Loving Kick in the Pants, I talked about the power of pausing to reflect on our “why.” My husband and I have been re-evaluating our goals, finances, and time, even considering big moves like selling our house, all to realign with our bigger purpose.
The main takeaway? Delegate with intention. I shared a funny eighth-grade story about a leadership shirt mishap that taught me why doing everything alone doesn’t work. Whether in business or parenting, real leadership means trusting others, letting go, and knowing that rest and support are essential.

It starts with being intentional, brain dumping tasks, identifying non-negotiables, and building a flexible, purpose-driven schedule.
I walk you through a five-step process: write everything down, identify habits, set intentions, prioritize, and take imperfect action. I also share personal stories to show how this approach brings peace and alignment, not just productivity.

In this episode, I talk about balancing authenticity and professionalism, especially when showing up on social media and in business. I share how I recorded this podcast without makeup or getting ready because it was more important to stay consistent than to look perfect. I want people to know it’s okay to show up as they are, and that trying to be perfect can often stop us from taking action. I also share a personal story from when I first started making YouTube videos and how being visible and real online helped me grow my business.
I also give tips on how to manage automation in a personal way, keep content true to your brand, and set healthy boundaries. I stress that it’s okay to delegate tasks you don’t enjoy or aren’t good at so you can focus on what you do best. Building a brand is about showing up authentically while still maintaining professionalism where it matters. Most importantly, I remind you that you are enough just as you are, and consistency is key in building trust with your audience.

Inspired by a viral clip of Olympic rugby player Ilona Maher, I share how building confidence through honesty and growth makes the idea of being a fraud feel irrelevant. I also reflect on a personal story involving my dad and learning the difference between humility and self-belief.
I break down what imposter syndrome is, why it sticks around, and how to overcome it by shifting your mindset, embracing evidence of your progress, and staying honest about your efforts. If you’re growing, you’re not an imposter, you’re evolving. This episode is your nudge to own your worth.

I’m so excited to share that Becoming Bossminded is officially out on Amazon, and it even hit bestseller status! This book is for anyone who wants to build a business that works with their life, not against it. It’s full of real stories, practical tools, and lessons I’ve learned the hard way to help you avoid common mistakes and feel less alone on your journey.
Writing this reminded me why I started: to create something real and helpful. I talk about “interest media” vs. just social media, my personal framework for success, and how building your own version of success is possible, and worth it. Thank you to everyone who supported, shared, or believed in this project.

Both reminded me how easy it is to lose focus in business. That’s why I created the Becoming Boss Minded framework, to help women move forward with clarity and purpose.
I walked through five steps: desire more, define the cost, find your edge, create your version of success, and take your seat. In this episode, I share my excitement about recording the audiobook for Becoming Boss Minded and the journey it took to get there. I reflect on the mistakes and lessons I’ve learned in business, from managing a team to learning how to pay myself properly. I talk about the power of being direct, both in my coaching style and in how I’ve helped others grow. I also open up about personal struggles, like dealing with COVID and family issues, while finishing my first book, and how staying committed helped me push through tough times.
I then introduce the Boss Minded Framework, a five-step process to help people take smart, aligned action in business. The steps include desiring more, defining the cost, finding your edge, creating your version of success, and finally, taking your seat. I explain how each step plays a role in building a strong foundation and mindset for entrepreneurship. I also tease some upcoming events and the May 22 release of the book, encouraging listeners to join the waitlist for special launch-day perks.

In this episode, I talked about the sixth step of the Accountability Code—feedback, which is all about using past experiences to make better choices moving forward. I shared a personal story from my upcoming book Becoming Boss Minded called The Art of Saying No, where I learned the hard way that helping too much can lead to burnout. I explained how saying yes too often, even with good intentions, can hurt your mental health and relationships. This story helped me see how important it is to set boundaries and focus on what really matters.
I introduced a step-by-step method called the Six Ps to help you feel more confident when saying no. These steps help you protect your time, energy, and peace of mind so you can grow without overwhelming yourself. I also reminded listeners that feedback doesn’t always come right away, it often shows up after the fact, and that’s okay. What matters is learning from it and doing better next time. I hope my story inspires you to reflect on your own past experiences and use them to build a healthier, more balanced future.

In this episode, I talked about the fifth step of the accountability code, commitment—and how it’s different from just taking action or implementing ideas. Implementing is when you practice or try something, like brainstorming or writing, but commitment is when you actually finish the task and can prove it’s done. I shared how one of my clients struggled with staying consistent on social media after a group challenge ended, and we realized that making a plan isn’t enough, you have to commit to following through.
I also gave some personal examples from my journey, like my commitment to finishing my book Becoming Boss Minded. I talked about setting solid goals, breaking them into smaller checkpoints, and using tools like Trello to track progress. One big tip I shared is to tell others about your commitments, it helps with accountability. In the end, commitment is what turns our dreams into real things we can see, share, and be proud of.

Implementing means taking action on what matters to you, even if it's not perfect. Many people make plans but never follow through, so I reminded everyone to just start, even if it’s messy.
I also shared a personal story about learning to share responsibilities at home. I couldn’t do it all myself, so my family and I divided up the tasks. It wasn’t easy, but it made a big difference. The real takeaway? Just try. Progress matters more than perfection.

In this episode, I talked about planning as the third step in the Accountability Code, right after reflection and humility. Planning isn’t just writing stuff down, it’s about creating a meaningful roadmap that actually helps you succeed. I shared how putting “tennis friends” on my vision board led to real friendships just by showing up and being open.
I also broke down different types of planning, yearly, quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily, and how each one helps in life and business. I use Trello to keep my 90-day goals organized and plan out content. For daily planning, I use my own method based on the Accountability Code, and I’m turning it into a book soon! Overall, planning gives you the clarity and confidence to follow through on what matters most.

In this podcast, Elora Hill reflects on her journey with humility, sharing how negative past experiences at a toxic workplace made her initially resistant to feedback. The Accountability Accelerator program helped her shift her mindset, viewing humility as honest self-awareness rather than weakness. Now, as a mom, Elora focuses on what she can do within her limited time, reducing stress and working with more intention. This transformation has renewed her excitement for her business, knowing she can make a meaningful impact.
Elora also discusses her business, Fireside Journals, which blends scripture study, journaling, and creativity to help people connect with their faith. Embracing her doubts as opportunities for growth, she has found deeper meaning and now helps others do the same. Her journey shows that humility isn’t about staying stuck, but accepting where you are while striving for improvement, both in business and life. Through this process, Elora has gained clarity and a renewed sense of purpose that benefits both herself and her family.

In this episode, I talk about the role of reflection in the accountability code, sharing a personal story from my book, Doubt Yourself No More. I reflect on trying out for cheerleading in high school, initially to prove a point, but later realizing how reflection evolves when you take action. I explain that reflection is about thinking through your goals, values, and challenges, and as you act on them, your reflection changes, helping you grow and build confidence. This process helps you become more accountable and stay focused on your goals.
I emphasize that true growth comes from taking action and not giving up, even when things get tough. I encourage you to pay attention to what’s taking up your mental energy and use it as a sign to take action. The episode ends with me promoting my free audiobook and workbook on the accountability code, inviting you to dive deeper into applying these principles in your own life.

In this episode, I share how to set a clear eight-week goal using the Accountability Code, a framework designed to help you take action. Many people struggle with defining their focus, so I walk through six key steps: reflection (identifying your goal), humility (recognizing what’s holding you back), planning (creating a roadmap), implementing (taking action), commitment (declaring your goal), and feedback (evaluating progress). The Accountability Accelerator provides structure and support to help participants stay on track, but even if you're not in the program, you can still apply these steps to make real progress.
The key to success is taking action and staying accountable. Whether you want to launch a business, write a book, or improve your relationships, the process remains the same. If you don’t commit, you risk staying stuck in the cycle of "what ifs." Over the next eight weeks, I’ll be sharing success stories from my clients to show what’s possible when you follow through. So, set your commitment declaration, stay consistent, and watch how much progress you can make!

In this episode, I talked about accountability and why traditional plans don’t always work. I shared personal experiences, like writing my book and learning to adjust plans to fit my own needs. I also highlighted stories from my clients, like Kim, who successfully hosted events by adapting the accountability code, and Susan, who realized she needed to trust herself more to improve her business. The key takeaway is that being accountable isn’t about following a rigid plan, it’s about adjusting and taking action in a way that works for you.
I also discussed why waiting for the "perfect time" to take action is dangerous. Many people, like my client Ashley, hold back due to fear, but delaying only makes it harder. Ashley was hesitant to quit her job, but when she finally took the leap, she tripled her income in three weeks. The right support system makes accountability easier, and I encourage everyone to start taking action now. When you listen to your own instincts and commit to progress, you can create real change in your life.

In this episode, I talk about the downside of "waking up too much"—overthinking, overanalyzing, and consuming too much information without taking action. Just like showing up too much can be unbalanced, constantly planning and reflecting without implementing can keep us stuck. I share examples of how this happens and explain that real growth comes when we take action, even if it’s imperfect.
I also emphasize the importance of setting boundaries on information intake and recognizing when it's time to shift from thinking to doing. Using personal stories and listener experiences, I show how honesty helps break free from analysis paralysis. The key takeaway is that finding balance between waking up and showing up leads to progress and peace. I invite listeners to join my Accountability Accelerator to start taking action on their goals.

In this episode of Your Loving Kick in the Pants, I dive into the difference between waking up and showing up. Lately, I’ve been networking and seeing firsthand how people take action when they truly understand accountability. But I’ve also noticed that many people overdo one side—either constantly staying busy and overwhelmed or spending too much time thinking without acting. If you’re exhausted and struggling to keep up, you might be showing up too much and neglecting reflection. True balance comes from recognizing what tasks actually belong to you and what you can let go of.
I share a personal story about letting go of control, using my household’s dishes as an example. By asking my husband to take over, I realized how difficult it is to step back, but also how necessary it is. I break down the importance of delegating, setting up systems, and giving yourself permission to rest. If you’re stuck in a cycle of doing too much, start by identifying what only you can do, find what can be delegated, and allow yourself to step back without guilt. Realigning isn’t failing—it’s making sure you don’t burn out before you get where you want to be.

In this episode, I talk about the importance of honesty in the accountability code. Without honesty, real change and growth aren’t possible. I share personal stories about how dishonesty can show up in small ways, like making excuses or setting unrealistic goals. Being truthful with yourself brings clarity, peace, and happiness.
I break down key steps, including self-reflection, dropping the ego, setting realistic goals, taking action, and owning commitments. I also stress the importance of feedback and recognizing excuses. Ultimately, honesty helps you stay accountable and create the life you truly want.

In this episode, I talk about the mix of nervousness and excitement that comes with growth, especially in business. As I prepare for a big speaking event, I reflect on how these feelings are a sign of change and progress. I encourage my listeners to embrace them rather than avoid them. Through my Accountability Accelerator, I help people push past fear by setting goals and having someone hold them accountable, which can be both scary and motivating.
I also share three steps to turn nervous excitement into action: reflect on past experiences, set a “5:55 alarm” as a reminder to take action, and find accountability to stay on track. I remind listeners that if they’re feeling nervous and excited, they’re exactly where they need to be. Growth happens outside our comfort zones, and I’m here to support them in that journey.

We planned content, shared our journeys, and celebrated big wins. Many talked about how this community has helped them gain confidence, find success, and connect with like-minded people.
This retreat wasn’t just about business—it was about encouragement, breakthroughs, and having fun. Women from different industries shared how mentorship and accountability changed their lives. If you've never been to a retreat, you need to come. It’s like an adult sleep away camp, but with business transformations!

In this episode, I talk about the Community to Cash Challenge, a five-day program I created to help people grow their engagement and make money, even in other people's communities. You don’t need your own audience to succeed. I’ve personally made six figures using free social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, and the challenge teaches simple marketing principles to help you do the same. For just $27, you’ll get lifetime access to tools like a KPI tracker, an engagement guide, and social media templates to make posting and connecting easier.
The challenge includes five steps: joining a community, connecting with others, clearly communicating your goals, asking for engagement, and making a low-cost offer. I’ve also added bonuses for completing the challenge, like a headline generator, social media shoutouts, and strategy calls to keep you motivated and growing. If you finish in five days, you can unlock extra rewards like free advertising and a $500 coupon for my advanced program. This challenge is all about taking action, learning what works, and building relationships that help your business grow.

In this episode, I share how being on a cruise ship has given me the space to focus on writing my book, Becoming Boss Minded. Surrounded by other marketers, I’ve been reminded how easy it is to feel pressured to do everything people suggest for success. Instead, I reflect on a lesson from my mentor called "hand in the sand," which is about focusing on a few key priorities and letting go of the rest.
I discuss how taking on too many goals, especially ones that don’t align with your values, leads to burnout and failure. By narrowing your focus and saying no to distractions, you can be more productive and at peace. I’ve embraced this mindset to avoid FOMO and stay on track, and I encourage listeners to do the same by prioritizing what truly matters to them.

I explain why understanding your audience and doing the groundwork yourself is crucial before outsourcing.
We also explore the balance between outsourcing and authenticity. While tasks like podcast production can be delegated, staying connected with your audience through your voice and story is essential. In this episode, I discuss raising your prices with confidence. Many hesitate to increase prices due to doubt or justification worries. I share insights from my boss-minded group: you don’t need to explain your prices, confidence is key. Regular price increases and client feedback can help build assurance. I share my journey of raising my program price from $750 to $3,000, driven by results and feedback.
Other tips include not apologizing for price changes, avoiding seasonal timing pitfalls, and aligning prices with your worth. While marketing price increases can attract clients, do so authentically to avoid seeming desperate. Even a 4% increase is reasonable due to inflation. Trust your value and align prices with your work quality.

In this episode, I announce major changes in my business, specifically the rebranding of my group from Lady Bosses to Boss Minded. After nearly four years of building this community, I realized the name posed trademark issues and didn't fully reflect the empowered mindset of the women involved. This new name protects my brand and emphasizes taking control of one's business and life.
Being "boss minded" is about making bold choices and fostering a supportive community where women can learn and overcome challenges together. I express my excitement for future retreats and events, and I’m grateful for the support I’ve received. Together, we can navigate the tough side of business while uplifting one another.

Topics covered in this episode:
In this episode, I discussed my pride in attending a client’s ribbon-cutting event for her new boutique. I also reflected on recent challenges, including a virus, a friend's funeral in Utah, and the devastation from Hurricane Helene. Despite these hardships, I’m grateful that my family and home were safe, and I contemplated survivor's guilt and the lack of control we have over life’s events.
I emphasized the importance of helping others when we’re in a better position to do so. Observing the contrast between people seeking assistance and my client’s celebration reminded me that while hard work is vital, it’s not always enough in the face of uncontrollable circumstances. It's essential to appreciate our blessings and be ready to support those in need.

Their positive feedback shows me that I can offer helpful advice based on my own experiences.
I also talk about how important it is to trust yourself when it comes to accountability. I share a personal story about how I try to create a caring space for both my kids and clients, encouraging them to be themselves. As I wrap up, I invite everyone to focus on personal growth, trust themselves, and have fun along the way.

Marci Barker - Life & Business Accountability Coach
In this episode, I discussed the importance of building friendships in business. Having friends keeps you motivated and supports you during tough times. While extroverts may find it easier to make friends, maintaining those connections takes effort.
Business friendships create a positive environment, as I’ve seen at my retreats. I shared three tips for nurturing these relationships: follow up with past connections, invite others to join experiences, and offer support, even in small ways. Ultimately, having a few close friends who share your values enriches your business journey.

In this episode, I discuss inner peace and accountability. I share a story from my book about the importance of feedback and recognizing when we're off course, using my car's alignment as a metaphor. Just like adaptive cruise control keeps my car on track, we need checks to stay aligned in life.
I also talk about identifying negative cycles and how accountability, both to ourselves and others, helps break them and create lasting peace.
The takeaway: you deserve happiness and the ability to steer your life in the right direction.

In this episode, I talk about setting boundaries with my mother-in-law, who often asks for help. I realized that by always saying "yes," I created a pattern where people relied on me too much. Accountability means recognizing these habits and making changes by setting limits to prioritize my well-being.
I encourage you to reflect on your own life and relationships. If you're feeling overwhelmed or disrespected, personal accountability can help you shift those dynamics. By changing your habits, you can change how others treat you. I'm here to support you with my accountability code if you're unsure where to start.

Finally, I advocate for intentional breaks to renew our energy and prepare for future challenges with enthusiasm.

In this episode, I shared how I'm feeling grateful and recounted a touching story from my accountability program. One of my clients, a busy mom managing a dance studio and family life, felt unsure about her reflection process. She worried if reflecting while driving was effective. I assured her that there's no "right" way and emphasized doing our best in any circumstance.
Reflecting, even during busy times, helps us grow. I urged listeners to be gentle with themselves and acknowledge their progress, no matter how minor, as they work towards accountability.

I'm honored to have my good friend and client Elle Pace on the podcast today. She is a massage therapist and one of the most accepting people I know. This episode starts off with a story where Elle had resistance to accepting someone without even knowing them.
Listen as she describes her process of overcoming that resistance and allowing the teaching moment to expand into other areas of her life. You'll love listening to how you can learn to overcome resistance and have it move you to love, acceptance, and respect.

I hope as you listen you'll become more aware of how you can overcome your resistance and move forward with love, acceptance, and respect for yourself and all those you come in contact with.
