Recently I noticed a lot of people in my friend list turning 30. That triggered me to make an episode on the bitter sweet 30s. I am well into this decade, and am currently going through all the ups and downs of it.
I realized that having inhibitions about everything is the most common feeling one gets in their 30s. Especially for the millennials who are entering this decade after having a not so exciting late 20s because of the pandemic, I feel this transition in age can hit harder than we imagined.
Join me in this episode as I share a few weird and a few good changes that came onto me in my 30s!
Plastic surgery is one of the most common procedures that people, particularly celebrities go through these days. Everyone has a right to make their own choices, but is it ok to keep people under the wrong impression of being 'naturally beautiful?'
In this episode I talk about my thoughts on undergoing surgical beauty procedures, why people have to be honest about it and the impact it has on an every average girl. Hope you take away a little something from this episode! :)
PS- Please ignore the noises in the background, my cats were going crazy!
September has been crazy, intense, and I learnt to deal with never seeing a beloved pet again, healing and trusting your instinct.
In this episode I talk about the exciting F1 in September, watching God of War - Ragnarok (sorry for addressing it as God of War 2 in the episode 🙏), and the lessons I learnt because of my lost cat!
How much of what we see on social media, especially about sensitive issues and problems, is reality? Why does everyone wants the need to have an opinion on social media? If we don't talk about a trending topic does it mean that we don't care about it? Why do we want to make everything about us?
In this episode I talk about how certain sensitive issues need to be handled differently on social media so that they get the attention they deserve. While we are all entitled to our opinions, sometimes we also need to take a backseat and give the front seat to those who really need their voices to be heard.
I am back to being bold again! In the last few months I realized that I came under the societal pressure of being judged for having honest opinions, but from this episode onwards I want to try and change that. The intention of this podcast was always to share my personal stories, unfiltered, so that others can connect with them and take away a small learning or motivation, a very realistic one. However, with time, this became like any other motivational podcast, which isn't particularly my goal. In this episode I talk about what it feels like when a common person decides to take an uncommon path in life and the opinions and judgements that come with it. It is a truthful episode which sheds light upon the harsh side of the society and family of an average Indian girl.
Hi everyone, just like that we have reached the end of August and honestly it went by quite fast!
In this episode I talk about my blurry August- Settling into the new house, the TV series I finished or am watching and a bit of an F1 rant 😬

While everyone wants to have healthy habits, here is my list of some of the fun and exciting things that keep me sane in my 30s. At this age, I believe that life should be a perfect balance of indulgence and awareness, and I hope my list reflects that about me! Enjoy! 😊
Was this even a word a few years ago? But nevertheless, everybody now has their own version of adulting and I decided to share mine. Adulting hits everyone at different ages, different stages of their lives.
As negative as this concept has been made to feel, it provides some of the worst and the best experiences of our lives that shape us in a way that nothing else can. Happy adulting!! :D
Just an update on where I have been and why I have not been able to release or record an episode! But, with a promise to be back on track and see you very soon!
Aging can be a real b**ch sometimes! As kids, whatever we do we do with confidence. We win with confidence and we fail with confidence! But as adults we begin to doubt every little thing to even something as big as our very existence!
While the severity of self-doubt varies from person to person, we need to understand that sometimes it's the only obstacle in our way. In this candid episode I talk about why I think I have self-doubt and a few things which might help to numb it's effect.
Overthinking- What is this vicious thing!! Being a classic overthinker myself, I do have a good amount of experience to share with everyone. Whether you are an overthinker or not, you should listen to this episode to either feel relatable or to be able to understand someone who might be an overthinker. In this episode I talk about why people overthink, and what are some of the things which help me deal with it!
Just my personal take on why I think these 3 brands are highly overrated! Do you agree with the list?
April was a bit of a rollercoaster of a month. From self-doubt to getting my priorities straight, it had it all. In this episode I talk about aimless weekends without F1, PS game that I finished, series I am currently watching etc.
We all do it, but it needs to stop. It's only natural, but we need to get it out of our system and our society. Comparison has become a way of life, which is such a scary thing to think about. Without even realizing, it originates right from the time we are born, and creeps into adulthood creating a very toxic relationship with ourselves and with everyone and everything around us. In this episode I talk about why I think comparison is ingrained in us, and the slow but very effective steps I took to overcome the habit of comparison, especially during the most critical time of my life. Do rate my podcast if you enjoy listening to it! :)
While we all want to, some of us don't know what our passion is, some of us don't have the guts to follow it and some of us, after giving it multiple shots, just give up on it. In either case, I think it is important to give our passion a fair shot, whatever stage of life we are at.In this episode I talk about finding your passion, the practicality and logic behind pursuing it, whether middle class people can really afford to follow it and how it is a game of luck, timing, patience and persistence. I also talk about what my passion is and why I felt stuck following it. Tune in now! This one is a real fun one! :D
And today I start my monthly episode that will follow a different format! Like the episode title suggests, I will talk about all my monthly highlights on the last Wednesday of every month. This may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I would appreciate it if everyone gives it a try atleast once! It will cover everything from interesting places I have been to, series recommendations/reviews, sports (mainly F1), mini product reviews (tech, makeup, skincare, etc.) It is quite open ended and I would like to go with the flow with this format and would like to give it a fair shot!
In today's episode I talk about my March highlights like the beginning of the F1 season, the series that I watched and highly recommend, the PS game I am currently playing and about our dream home in my hometown! Tune in NOW! :)
In this episode I talk about 5 things/activities that I discovered I enjoy doing now, but wish I had started doing them earlier. It's all about following sports, gaming, cooking and some more! These are a few things that keep me very engaged and things that I really look forward to which have now become a fun part of my routine!
We often feel that to get along with someone or while selecting a partner for ourselves, we need to have similar interests, likes and dislikes. However, after being married to someone who's personality is quite opposite to mine, I believe that compatibility in any relationship is all about complementing each other. The balance that one can find in being with someone who is different than them, is like a lifeboat. In this episode I talk about why I think complementing and balancing each other is the primary pillar of compatibility.
Many of you must have heard this so many times that you almost started to question your abilities. In this episode I discuss the different types of personalities, comparisons and why for some people, getting out of their comfort zone kills their originality and their essence!
We often end up not doing things because of the fear of the unknown. But have you ever thought how free it feels to enter an unknown territory? That was exactly my feeling when I started my podcast. In this episode I talk about why I started my podcast and things I had to figure out before deciding on recording my first episode. There might be a few useful tips in this one, so do listen to it in case you are thinking of starting a podcast, or even otherwise just for a fun casual virtual conversation!

There is a lot of buzz around the concept of sustainability, especially in the world of fashion. While the term in itself may seem quite intimidating, I personally think that we are not there yet, where we can afford truly sustainable brands. In this episode I talk about how we can create an opportunity for sustainable clothes in the market and what are the small and super easy steps which we can take to contribute to the sustainable world of fashion. Do listen to it and let us pledge to do our bit to make smarter fashion choices! :D
We think that we live in a world that is accepting of all skin and body types, but if you dive deeper, you'll realise how the subtle toxicity of social media is taking a toll on our perspective about feeling beautiful. In this episode I discuss the double standards of society and how social media is acting like a slow poison into fooling and confusing our brains.
90s was the time of simplicity and at the same time of the biggest inventions! While we cannot complain about the convenience of today's lifestyle, there are some things from the olden times that can never be replaced, in our hearts! In Episode 1 of Season 2, I talk about some of the simple things from my 90s childhood that I really miss! I am very sure a lot of you will be able to relate so do listen to this one!!
Little did I think that I could actually experience the purest form of love in this lifetime. But the universe did have it's own plans to send two little angels down to me in the form of my cat babies Luca and Lara. For me, they are my family. I wanted to dedicate this last episode of Season 1 to my furry babies, because they mean so much to me and their story also taught me some very important lessons in life. Listen to the full episode to know about that one moment that transformed my life.
A much needed talk and a much needed listen. While some may still find it uncomfortable or unnecessary to talk about prioritizing mental health over anything else, the repercussions of not paying attention to the signals can be intense. In this episode I get totally raw and the most unfiltered I have ever been, talking about why I moved away from the corporate world, and some truth bombs that I uncovered during my professional journey. I hope that this episode makes you introspect about your mental well being and take the necessary steps.
A new year is here and I recently turned 31! So I wanted to start my year by making a few simple goals for myself. I want to start with implementing these simple changes that I think will be a crucial for my self esteem and my overall lifestyle. Let's bring about a real change this year, one baby step at a time! :D
The concept has marriage has evolved a lot over time. The change is especially more apparent amongst the millennials and the Gen Zs. While it is still based on love, it is also based on mutual respect and acceptance of each other's individuality. Marriages are no more between two families, they are between two people who wish to define their own terms and create their own world together as a couple.
From what started as a bit of a rebel moment to leave home and go far away from family, ended up in being the most amazing experience of my life so far. Going to a state and a city that gave me the biggest culture shock of all times, also gave me the most amazing and culturally different husband. The person that I am today, I owe it to my college life at NIT Trichy. Come, listen to me talk about my college stories and how I found beauty in all the differences!
Everyone gets freaked out by it. But is it really that difficult? In this episode I talk about why long distance relationships seem scary, about my personal experience of being in a long term LDR and some lessons and tips I learnt along the way. So, go ahead! Listen away!
I feel that a woman being 'nice' and 'respectful' towards another woman is not celebrated as much as them being best friends or enemies. In this episode I discuss some of the reasons why it is difficult for some girls to form an instant bond with another girl and try to bring in a different perspective to women empowerment.
The word 'Average' has always had a negative connotation. But I think that being average is in fact a blessing in disguise! To all my average people out there, this episode is a cheers to celebrate our average lives!
30 hits like no other age. We have a mid-life crisis where one day we feel super energetic and the next day we feel super old! It is a rollercoaster ride where every turn is unexpected!
