New York State have some of the most tenant friendly laws in the whole country. This is the same rules for NYS skyscrapers and for the single family home some family owns in more rural areas. We talk about some of these newish laws and some of the implications that may have been unintended. Tell us what you think.
The Frog Hollow Garage has been around since 1927 and over the years that location housed many businesses all related to automotive. Today Anthony DeMieri owns and operates Frog Hollow Collision and he has expanded to its original routes of the original owner getting into the automotive mechanic shop business just next door. During a recent studio interview, Paul Cardone shared his experiences with the home selling and home buying process through Weichert Realtors. Relocating to New York for work is something we have seen more so now than years past. The agent needs to put themselves in the shoes of the client who is getting relocated. Also we are hosting a charity event and we have more info coming out soon.
Do you ever notice the top podcasts have very short intro's. I think we are going to change our intro. With work from home slowly getting back to the office we see opportunities for professionals getting into the real estate profession. Many agents are older and leaving the industry and many who entered during the real estate "gold rush" do not want to work very hard. The role of a real estate agent is to manage the whole transaction with guidance, knowledge, and expertise of real professionals. What is the role of a team leader and is members of the team best suited in a team or better off with a training/ coaching focused brokerage? How do many real estate brokers think about their agents and do they understand the responsibility they have to give their agents the training, support, and tools to allow them to earn a living and provide for themselves and family. Agents should be branding themselves and brokers should embrace, encourage and help that. Joseph and Jared's office neighbor is doing heavy construction for a new bubble tea business. We talked about pushing the podcast another day due to the construction noise but soon decided we needed to jump in our seats and do it.
