Mary welcomes in studio David Arthur with a testimony about which we can only say, “Only God!”. At a very young age, David sought his identity through a deep desire for love and affirmation, having grown up with no father in the home and sexual abuse beginning at 6 years old. His story is both extremely heartbreaking and profoundly hopeful; a raw and unfiltered warning from someone who walked the full length of the road that so many youth are being encouraged to take today, one of gender dysphoria and identity confusion. For over 30 years, he was deeply immersed in what he calls the “LGBTQ+ transqueer cult” and living as a transgender woman for 20 years of that time. His is a testimony of living life inside out – until God turned his life inside out via a remarkable transformation via the planting of a seed from a corrections officer. When he finally came to the end of himself via a death sentence of full blown AIDS in his 30s, God did amazing things. The darker things get, the brighter the shining hope through Jesus Christ.

We also discuss how parents are more afraid of the trans agenda than they are of the gay agenda. How do we get them to understand that it’s all designed to destroy kids’ hearts and minds? Is it a case of “at least I’m not on drugs, Mom” kind of reasoning? An in demand speaker and author, she founded Mission America, a Christian pro-family organization tracking current cultural issues. She is the author of two Christian books, Maybe He’s Not Gay: Another View on Homosexuality and Not My Child: Contemporary Paganism and the New Spirituality.

It began in California last year, the trend-setting state, and others are jumping on board with the latest being Illinois and New Jersey. For those who haven't heard, June is Gay Pride month. The LGBTQ+ community and their allies are out in full force in American culture in the hopes of making converts to moral relativism and justifying unbilical lifestyles. From rainbow flags outside buildings across social media to multicolored decorations adorning your favorite shops and brands, it seems that the majority is celebrating.

But this morning we will examine how the Court stopped far short of assuring Christians that their religious conscience would be protected. There are some warning signs that Monday's victory, while important to Phillips, might not be significant in the big picture. The battle was not won Monday; In fact, the ruling may have signaled SCOTUS is not prepared to guarantee people freedom of religious conscience that their rights will be protected.

Jack Phillips, the Colorado cake baker, won his appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court yesterday in a 7-2 ruling some are calling "narrow." Phillips was fined and nearly put out of business by the State of Colorado for refusing to use his artistic abilities to produce a wedding cake for a homosexual couple. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in his favor and chastised the State of Colorado for its mocking of his Christian faith.
But was this a "landmark" decision that will have long term impact or a limited ruling that leaves more questions than answers? The City of De Pere, Wisconsin passed an "anti-discrimination" bill last night by a 5-4 margin. We have been discussing the potential concerns and dangers of these ordinances but too many people seem to be arguing from emotion and public opinion rather than from a perspective of truth and fact. The council also did not allowing any change to the broad language regarding religious exemptions.
