It’s been an intense few decades politically and socially. So it’s time to unravel and share worries, fears, angers and sense of injustices we feel. Today is my Dad’s 57th birthday, and I thought no better time to release an episode on my loss journey since his passing in July 2021. With the increasing numbers of people suffering with depression and anxiety during this pandemic, I surface dive into the deep issue that is mental health. Specifically this week I will be talking about mental health candidly while trying to provide some practical advice about how I have coped with depression and anxiety, and a general platform and podcast aimed to make those suffering feel less alone. I am not a health care worker or expert just a student who knows how shit I can be in those super dark places, and want to create a platform to help those feelings the same way.
