In celebration of some of these more...adventurous works of cinema, our programmer Trevor Dillon announces a series called WTF Wednesdays! His mission? To boldly hit the Play button on some of cinema's twisted works, and discuss them with special guests!
Says Trevor, "I'll be focusing on films that are either currently part of our Streaming Cinema roster, or programmed to open in the weeks ahead, but I'll also be mixing in films that folks can currently watch on other streaming platforms. And I'll happily take suggestions!"
On Episode 6, Trevor invites Frida Cinema blogger/grant writer/superstar volunteer Isa Bulnes-Shaw to discuss Jake Mahaff 2020 Gothic Horror film REUNION!
On Episode 5, Trevor invites Frida Cinema bloggers Justina Bonilla and Austin Jaye to discuss the 1960 French classic EYES WITHOUT A FACE!
On Episode 4, Trevor invites Frida Cinema blogger Anthony McKelroy to discuss Mickey Reece's 2019 film THE CLIMATE OF THE HUNTER in all of its weird glory!
For our third installment, Trevor has enlisted the co-hosting duties of our very own Marketing & Graphics Director Jordan Djahangiri to talk about the chilling (and funny?) 1997 film Jack Frost!

The Frida Cinema's Chief Programmer Trevor Dillon announces WTF WEDNESDAYS, a new biweekly film-discussion show where he will take a look at "films that assault the senses, melt the brain, and leaves some audience members asking themselves, “…WTF did I just watch!?”"
On Episode 1, Trevor invites Horrible Imaginings Film Festival founder Miguel Rodriguez to discuss 1981 "Canuxploitation" film THE PIT, and its tale of talking teddy bears, carnivorous subterranean creatures, and one very creepy little boy...
