This is the Diary of Jake by Harshil Anand. In this podcast, I document my entire journey as a young hustler. I'm running a company called The Sidepath currently, and here I put down my learnings through the entire week, what's happening with my life and a bunch of crazy stuffs which I keep trying out everyday.
Listening to this episode will give you some deep insights into the differences between following a usual template provided to us by the systems running in the current world of traditional educations vs self-education. And, talking about being a topper in high school is crap or not, you will get your answers in this episode.
I'll see you in the next one 👋

All the people who have been following me on my social handles might be knowing from my recent post that we have decided to shut down the operations for The Sidepath's cohort and the community at the moment. The journey has been full of ups and downs and wasn't an easy ride at all. But you know, it was worth more than any MBA I would have done. In the 7th chapter of my diary, I'll take you through the primary events from the journey of building The Sidepath and my 5 major key takeaways out of it. Hope you enjoy the next 22 mins and get some value out of it. If you do, help me up with a short review in my DM's or putting a story out there to spread the word :)
I'll see you in the next one 👋

It's been a long time(6 months to be precise) and I am guilty of that. Things were a little uncertain during the last few months which I am super excited to share with you all. After I was done with my board exams last year, I have been dying to shift to Delhi. Finally, a month ago, I made the move to shift to this entirely new city and start a new chapter, a life of living independently. In the 6th chapter of my diary, I decided to share my experiences, my feelings and how did I managed everything initially. Listen to this as a checklist if you are planning to relocate aswell, for college or anything else :)Â

Since the last two months after the goa series, I have been working out of a coworking space here primarily because you know the vibes or what you can say 'aadat' of working from cafe's, hostels and beaches. Your brain starts demanding that open spaces and the aura of being surrounded with people. In the fourth chapter of my diary, I have shared my experience of working out of this coworking space aswell as our experience of being a part of Eureka finals, Asia's largest B-plan competition hosted by IIT-Bombay. Based on my past experiences of participating in a number of B-plan competitions,  I have also shared a few tips and tricks of how to nail your pitches. If you are in this startup ecosystem, this is a value bomb for you 💯

In the second chapter of my diary, I have shared my experience of teaching a group of people live for the very first time in my life. I have also shared the positive sides of opening up in public and how this has helped me to become more confident. I have been following a proper meditation routine since the past few months and I have shared how I started into it, the resources and how it looks like in my daily life. Lastly, I have talked about an amazing piece of tool called Notion which I use on a daily basis to manage my activities, tasks(both company and personal), documenting my life aswell as tracking my habits.

In the very first chapter from my diary, I have documented some of my amazing parts of this week. I wanted to start out with my most favorite one, i.e going off the society standards and living a truly happy life doing what you always have been wanted to do without caring about the boundaries the people around have set for you. The second thing is why I personally feel like the world has went blind over running behind money. So blind that they have completely forgot their biggest asset, their brain. Lastly, we finally launched The Sidepath this week. Something which me and my team have been working since the last 6-7 months.
