Professor Telford was the first sport scientist employed by the Australian Institute of Sport, following its establishment in 1981. A former cricketer and Australian Rules football player, and now olympic coach, Telford’s passion is for improving “physical literacy” in children, and he joins us from Brisbane, where he is quarantining after returning from the Tokyo Olympics.
