So what you think about life , now ... Here we are , it's a Pandemic , all I have is a tablet and my thoughts . In this stillness my voice was transitioned into ... This Life podcast is a series of individual conversations with a hand-picked group of creatives in various industries. These creatives combine their stories , faith and express a dialogue that sometimes doesn't get a space to be heard. My hope is that their stories allow you to Just be a visible expression of who you were created to be and own the call on your life , eventually inside you to impact the spheres your feet find you.
Queenie is a firstly a daughter of the Most High God, a Youth and Community Champion, Public Speaker and BA(Hons) . She is an Interior and Spatial Design graduate. As a Multi-disciplinary Creative, she specialises in Digital Marketing, Communications, Digital Graphic Design, CAD design & Photography. She enjoys travel, taking on new challenges such as recently embarking on a journey to launching her own business and volunteer for good local causes in her spare time - like , being thr Co-Chair at Big Local Broad Green (a community led initiative with £1million to spend), and holding the position as a Director/Trustee at Croydon Drop-In (a mental health youth charity) & Legacy Youth Zone (a multi-million pound youth centre). Together with an interest in Politics , am so encouraged that her story will be one of huge impact . Her personal journey as well of being in and out of foster care (Care Leaver & Proud), adopted & Queenie translated her life experience and story to make a change for children and young people. Overall this is a beautiful story weaved with yes highs and lows and inspiration
Doreen TangIs an amazing leader, woman, wife, mum whose story is simply breathtaking, Miraculous to say the least. Born in Brunei Darussalam , her humble beginnings and curious nature saw her embark on a Journey that would lead her to meet her childhood sweetheart Raymond- ( whom she knew since she was 15 years old ) into new cities and locations. As we peal back her footsteps, it is easy to see how this Journey was a well planned path that unfolded in the most divine ways! SO exciting. This year as She celebrats 20 years of marriage, together with her Children , - 3 kids (Benjamin 18, Ryan 17 and Amber 13)And as a Pastor & Location Coordinator within the Hillsong Family , Doreen still continues to dive into Deep waters , seeking opportunities to not only share her Faith, but encounter Jesus in her day to day life. Constantly learning, tending the roots of her faith, surely her story will inspire you to rediscover him for yourselves.
Shatylu Umali Hutton (aka Shaty) is an amazing Lady , whose paths I crossed towards the close of 2022. 42 years young , she is a Wife to the most amazing man in the world named Paul. Mother to 3 of the most beautiful kids in the universe - Hannah (6) Abigail (4) and Alexander (2)They are totally adorable. Born in Manila, Philippines , Shaty, Moved to the US later on in her early 20s , to American to study and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, graduated from University of California, Berkeley. She then applied this skill to become a Chartered accountant by profession. Shaty, Really enjoys doing sports and being strong and fit ! She has done various sporting events including a - 5/10/21k runs, cycling, swimathon events, triathlons)! She Enjoys watching movies and reading books, eating food and hanging out with friendsHillsong croydon which is her home church - Currently a campus leader for Shine, Sisterhood sports group leader, Shaty is an amazing role model within our community and its an absolute honor to share her story with you... simply seat back and Enjoy .
"Niki Carless ," where do I begin? Behind the scenes, she is Currently a Pastor within Hillsong Church UK. She is a daughter, twin sister, wife with the same hubby of 28 yrs, mum of three adult girls and one son in-law, mentor for the next generation of young people, a freind and lover of God, a singer songwriter, worshipper, with two albums and several singles. Her beautiful story shows how God weaves himself in the fabric of our lives as we walk along the path he has for us until we behold his pre destined Purpose. Its such an honour to steward this beautiful story in this space and hope it carries with it Hope, adventure and give every soul that listens a sense of being known and seen by an invisible God ... through those he brings along side us on this EARTH ....

Sharon Rose , is Huge Westend Muscial Actress based in London , whose incredible Voice and Craft has captivated audiences within the world of Musicals . Most recently, her journey has now transcended beyond the stage into Film where she stared and played the role of Joanne Jingle in the Global Block buster hit , NAACP Image Awards, Oscar shortlist ,Christmas movie Jingle Jungle , which aired in 2020 on Netflix . Together with her co stars, Forest Whitaker, Phylicia Rasaha and Madelin Mills they beautifully gave representation to the black community in this stunning film. But Sharon's story started humbly , finding her voice in church choirs and on school stages at a very young age and from then on, her and her eclectic band of siblings travelled together playing gigs and venues all over the country in pursuit of their dream: making music people can laugh, dance and cry , it was a chance encounter that found her in an audition room for the Hit west end show: Carole King, The musical where she played the role of “Little Eva”. She has Since then covered the role of Diana Ross in Motown, the Musical and played a “Radio” in Tony Kushner’s Broadway hit Caroline, or Change at the Hampstead Theatre before taking on 3 majestic roles as a standby in Hamilton and eventually the leading role of Eliza Hamilton, in The Musical. @SharonRoseLive. We all fell in love with her , her family and story. The first miracle , "You can still be somebody, " a moment Roland encountered, saw an award-winning photo of a photography student, that everything changed. Wanting to take a pictures like that, although he had never held a camera in his hands before. Or even had a portfolio. Moved by The death of his father and desire to do something more out of his life , pursue and dream big, With a borrowed camera he made it through the admission assignments to study documentary photography and was one of the few selected for the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. Roland felt in his element behind the camera's viewfinder. Here he discovered his talent: a sharp eye for a clear composition, light, and the right moment. The same year he won the 2008 Fotoprijs, the incentive prize for photographic talent from Dutch art academies. In this 2 part , conversation we get a glimpse in how God seeks us out into his Will. For many of us, just like Roland Pupupin, It was not always obvious that he would become a Global Photographer and Filmmaker based in Amsterdam ( whose Legacy includes Filming for Hillsong Church , travelling with Bobbie Houston to Uganda for a Compassion trip where he captured a visual Image that changed the trajectory of his Life , openiny up many more Huge opportunities within this field, ) etc and here is why. Growing up, there was no attention to Art, Creativity, or Exploring the world. We lived quite Poor in Groningen, Netherlands. And my parents were not educated people, so I had hardly any exposure to books and intellectual subjects like politics or philosophy, or creative arts. Though blessed with a warm and loving catholic home, i remember that my mother and father used to pray a lot and his mother still does every day. But my faith and personal relation with God came late at the end of his twenties. I studied sports management but ended up in a cigarette factory, where i worked shifts for years without any perspective or purpose to my Life. After the death of my father, I decided to take more control of my life, and at the age of 28, took the first steps in photography. I started visiting museums, and traveling the world. And Slowly , this opened up an untapped creative potential I dint know I ever had. This dynamic story will captivate your Heart to belive God directs our entire life steps....and as we follow him step by step he unveils potential and gifting within for his Cause...
