Many of us ran to theaters to see the much anticipated movie and to much surprise for some of us, there were mixed expectations and outcomes.
The movie was amazing with great action packed scenes. But for some of us, the movie lacked the themes that the Black community would like the world to know about us.
As the world seems to be buzzing by the vision of equity, what does it look like for those charged with implementing it and those historically adversel affected?
Does the concept of reparations give you hope? Everyone has an idea of what reparations should look like but can it be a variety of practices that return opportunities to its rightful owners?
Can we start where we stand?
In this episode, the nature of asking for help and asking questions is discussed. Yes there is a way to ask questions and yes there is a way to determine how to catalog the information that you have gleaned over the years.
Because there's nothing worse than asking for help and not retaining any of what you've received.
