MotherBoard is a Charter, Community and Event Series that has been created to drive positive change throughout the UK Technology and Data sectors. Creating environments that support the inclusion of working mothers offers a significant solution to the shortage of talent across the Technology and Data sectors. We’re here to educate, challenge and create that shift. We’re not here to berate, we’re here to connect, embrace and champion positive change makers.
A Motherboard event focused on mentorship - specifically, who would make a good mentor, where to find one and how to get the best out of the programme. For our 2nd event of 2022 we will hosted a great part 2 meetup which concentrated more on the journey of mentorship and how your relationships will evolve as your career progresses.
We covered the four stages of mentorship:
- preparation
- negotiation
- enabling growth
- closure
We explain why its important to understand these stages and how to identify when its time to move on to the next step.
