Crazy Good God, do you know Him? He's somethin' else! And He thinks you are AWESOME! My 15 or 5 minute Episodes launch every Wednesday morning 5am. We are on a wondrous adventure to encounter and grasp Jesus's finished work. Religious Christianity tells us there are things we have to do or say to get saved. But, Jesus said, "It is finished." What does that mean! Sure sounds like Jesus did it all. God just wants us to enjoy His life. He freely gives it to us, all we do is RECEIVE! This crazy good God is head over heels in love with you and all mankind, whom He made in His image and likeness. He doesn't make junk! God sees the hidden treasure in everyone. The fall of man brought darkened understanding, deception, and ignorance. The first lie was Adam and Eve thought God was holding out on them and really didn't care about them. What a big fat lie! Man still thinks God is distant and aloof, so we must do something to get back to God. Jesus said, "It is finished.", then why do we think we have to do something? Get ready to be wowed! Find out wonderful truths that will expose and dismantle many lies you've believed about God. If you’ve tried to serve Him and are left feeling guilty, must do more, just plain worn out, then listen in to be truly renewed! E61 Is God offended at us? Who was Jesus hanging on the cross? What enabled Jesus to endure the cross? Paul said, “I’ve determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. That sounds morbid, but it must really be pivotal! Does the traditional religious celebration of Easter lack deep understanding of what really was happening on the cross? Discover deeper and be wowed!
60 Have you ever noticed all the happy verses about God judging the earth? Men and nature rejoice like crazy! Would you do that about God’s judgment? Hmm, have we been fed a negative bill of goods when it comes to Jesus coming back a second time? It actually is good news as it connects with what He did while on earth! Get happy when you heart that God’s judgment has a lot of joy.
E59 In January 2022 I saw a vision of four things unfold one at a time. The previous episode #58 was about the last thing I saw in this vision – the great cloud of witnesses. Today I share about the other three things from the vision, a large multiple angled structure, baby elephant, and dog. After pondering these three, amazing understanding was discovered. Who would have thought a vision in the clouds would be so fun and take me to God, His kingdom, and us? Enlarge your perspective, there is more to you than you realize.

Ever wonder about the great cloud of witnesses? What are they doing? A most astonishing vision I had in January 2022 brought some answers. You will be encouraged in your faith and running with endurance the race set before you. This cloud of witnesses even testify to His wondrous resurrection and finished work. That’s why they are so animated about you!
E57 What is God’s lovingkindness? Is it important in your life? How does His lovingkindness affect your life? Have you ever felt you need to really seek after God? I did. Now I see a decades old dream was actually showing me the futility in trying to run after God. How patient and kind God is in our journey to really know Him. God’s lovingkindness has a lot to do with that!
E56 Have you considered or experienced being astonished by God, about God? Do you know this happened to Augustine on his death bed! With all the Isaiah proclaims about your beauty, how to get free from hindrances, and the glad tidings of the Gospel – who would have thought it would end with astonishment? Listen in and discover there is more to experience in God here and now.

God spoke to me in a dream in May 2000, “Isaiah 52. The Lord says, “Remove the obstacles.” Little did I realize way back then and not until the last several years that Isaiah 52 was full of our true identity, how we got our false identity, and the huge good joyful news of Jesus’ finished work. Join in to begin exploring your fullness in Him and how to get freer and fuller!
E52 Ever had a ‘word dream’? God succinctly spoke loud and clear. It abruptly woke me up. Find out the serendipity about the number 52 and my long lonely trek to discover grace. Hey, do you know that grace is powerful against obstacles? We don’t even have to lift and finger. God just wants us to SEE clearly. Hmm, what are those obstacles anyway?
E51 How does a dream from twenty years ago about horses, wagon, reins, being in control show us many kind aspects of God’s good will and grace? You may have had dreams a long time ago, but Holy Spirit can expand your understanding years later. Always be open to seeing more, especially if you are growing in the knowledge of His will with all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Oh my, God knows how to use anything to take us deeper in Him and make us more free. Just think even throughout all eternity He has more wows for us!
E50 What is God’s will? Do you see it as demanding and to be obeyed, or is God’s will higher, benevolent, and freeing? Does man’s will and religion’s will overlap? Do you know your true identity fits perfectly in God’s will? Listen and get excited about God’s wondrous kind will that is already accomplished – in fact before time began!
E49 Has religion hijacked God’s mercy? Do you beg for mercy? Only by looking at who God really is can we understand and truly enjoy His mercy. Hey, do you know mercy is about new? In God there’s always new everywhere!
E48 What is the meaning of NEW in the Bible. When Jesus talked about new wineskins and new wine He was using two different new words from the Greek. When you understand the meanings and Jesus' prophetic implications you will be in wonder! The Lord reminded me of a vision from 1988. That's a long time ago but He sure made it relevant to today and Jesus' finished work.
E47 What does the Incarnation mean? Is it a quick transition to the big purpose of Jesus coming to save us from our sins? What if we underestimate the magnitude of what the Incarnation shows God to really be? There are many ‘wows’ to discover about Jesus becoming Man. Two dreams I had decades ago unknowingly at the time, point to Jesus’ incarnation. Amazing!
E46 Do you laugh? Does God laugh? Hmm, laughter must be good because we are created in His image and likeness. What happens when we laugh? Do you know about the laughter in the Old Testament? Hmm, maybe God isn’t as scary as some believe. Have you ever thought that faith and laughter go together? And find out about Walter C. Lanyon’s encounter with The Laughter of God. Life chainging!
E45 When you hear the Gospel, the Good News, is it about joy? Have you ever thought about the joy that jump-started Jesus’ incarnation. Do you know the key ones who encountered effusive joy? If joy is not part of the proclaimed Good News, then we are missing something really important. On another point, would you have ever considered yourself a joy to Jesus before He went to the cross?
E44 Many translations say we will stand before the judgment seat and give an account of what we’ve done, good or bad. (2Cor 5:10) But, scary implication does not fit in the context of what Paul was writing in this chapter and when you hear the Greek understanding you will be amazed and thankful. Ultimately this verse is about grace and the result Jesus’ finished work. Be happy!
E42 Have you ever wondered what those mansions are that Jesus talked about? Are they literal? What if it’s something bigger and better!? What kind of preparation did Jesus do to make a place for you? What is the biggest thing about the core of your being? Jesus was trying to show that.
E42 The Lord reminded me of my dream from 2006 as I was considering Jesus' words "In My Father's house are many mansions." He began to give me deeper understanding of this dream in light of Jesus' finished work. He even connected it to mansions! It is the most strange and amazing dream about buying a new house and begins with me checking out the bathroom. Shortly after I have a problem. This dream actually speaks to our true identity. Isn't it amazing how God can make great points even through a dream!
E41 Jesus said, ‘Heaven and Earth will pass away’. If God said His creation was very good, why would He want it to pass away. If Jesus Incarnate came down from and ascended back to Heaven, then why would He want Heaven to pass away? Is Jesus' finished work part of the mystery for Heaven and Earth passing away? Could it be really good news for mankind?!
E40 Someone asked Jesus, “Lord, are there few who are saved?” Jesus said “Strive to enter through the narrow gate. For many, I say to you will seek to enter and will not be able.” This sounds hopeless! Is this what Jesus meant? Leaven (or yeast) is key to understanding what He meant. There’s even a comical aspect in how the disciples couldn’t understand how simple His way is, and actually didn’t like it. Jesus redefines ‘works of God’!
E39 What is the narrow gate and difficult way? What is the destruction for choosing the broad way? Are these two ways contrasting life and hell or is it a wondrous good news for all? Have you ever considered the narrow gate and difficult way has to do with death? Also, I share a personal story about my grandma with dementia. She died then back to life and shared what she saw!
E38 Blindness and seeing are very important to God. Jesus said I judge no one, but later He said, ‘For judgment I have come into the world that those who do not see may see, and those who see become blind.’ Is that fair? Indeed, because in essence everyone will see! God will see to it! If you think you’re blind ask Him to open your eyes. If you're sure you see absolutely clearly ask Him to make you blind so He can make you really see! Never forget His timing is always perfect.
E37 Are these words difficult for you – command, repent, judge? Paul spoke of these things to the philosophers in Athens when he referenced their idol “To an Unknown God”. If we understand a few Greek words, we’ll discover Paul was telling them really good news – for them and everyone. That means us too!
E36 The elder son had a false identity that was wrapped up in works. All his hard work blinded him from seeing what was really important. In fact, they were idols in his life. Not only was Jesus showing the idols in the elder son, He was confronting the Pharisees with theirs as they listened to the Prodigal son parable. The kind father to his wayward son and judgmental son is a jaw-dropping picture of our heavenly Father. Sadly, religiosity blinds us to our magnanimous generous Father.
E35 Do you know how important sonship is to your being? Jesus has shocking things to show us about our Heavenly Father through the Prodigal son’s father. Discovering the significance of putting the best robe on the Prodigal certainly confronts religious mindsets. Get ready to be wowed at our Father’s crazy goodness and your own significance!
E34 God is all about receiving. Jesus told several parables to make that point. It is important to know the meaning of the word ‘receive’ as it helps brings revelation of how much the Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit wants us and enjoys us. Jesus even used a parable about the poor, maimed, lame, and blind to show God’s full house receptivity. What a picture of humanity magnanimously wanted! By the way there are two different Greek words for receive in the Parable of father and his two sons – both receives are important!
E33 Who is the Prodigal son really? Was he a loser destined to be a winner? Why did the Prodigal want to leave the farm? The father was hands off in his respect of the sons’ wills and choices. Yet there was a greater value the father had for his sons, that enable him to be Hands off.
E32 Why did Jesus teach in parables? To understand them you have to be open to more! There are three characters in the Prodigal son Parable and one mystery character. Who is the most important character? It's actually connected to why Jesus came! What to look for can help understand other parables. Have you ever found Jesus' parables confusing?! There's a reason for that.
31E What word does religion use to describe God and makes us think we have to do something to get back to Him. But, from God’s perspective there is a very small word that has huge ramification in truly knowing God and ourselves. Take the quiz to see if you know this biggest smallest word about God, His kingdom, and us.
30E What did Eve really eat when she ate of the tree of knowing good and evil? What was the first thing Eve did that led to harm for herself, Adam, mankind? What true knowledge did Eve lose? If we eat of tkge, what can we do to stop eating from it?
29E Part 3 How could God possibly use the tree of knowing good and evil for man’s glory? What does man’s will, mystery, choice, God’s hidden wisdom, a non-intervention God have to do with the tree of knowing good and evil? What is it about God that lets Him live in the tension of opposites and seemingly not intervene? Is God’s goodness so big it trumps every evil?
E28 Part 2 We call it the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. But that description is misleading and a poor translation. Find out the correct Hebrew word or knowledge and you’ll understand what this tree really is. Do you eat from it? But, surprise - the foolishness of the wisdom of God shows up and it’s for our glory!
E27 Part 1 What is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Is it a list of good things to do and evil things to avoid? Was it there to tempt Adam and Eve to see if they would obey? If God said everything was good that He had made does that mean the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is good? If God is good how can He know evil?
E26 How did driving out Adam and Eve from the Garden give a prophetic picture of Jesus’ resurrection? If Jesus died while we were yet sinners and His death completed God’s will, then how does His gift of life by grace have anything to do with our cooperation, repentance, or having faith? If One died for all and all died, then how are we to see others?
E25 God drove out Adam and Eve from the Garden. Looks like God was angry at them. Does religious teaching make you believe that? But, what if God wasn’t angry. Could it be His kindness on display, as well as the beginning of the Good News? Could the Cherubim with the flaming sword turning every way show us that Jesus was present? Indeed, it does! Even at the fall God was caring for mankind made in His image and likeness.
24 Why do we have trouble believing Jesus is everywhere throughout all of human history. Time and place is our go to reference for life. It's natural to only insert Jesus, thus easily limiting presence in our minds. If Jesus is everywhere, how did He show up in the garden? Why is it so easy to underestimate God and His goodness?
23 Many believers study the Bible and dig deeply in the Word AKA scriptures. But, we sure don’t want to end up like the Pharisees who searched the scriptures continually to find God. Shockingly, Jesus told them, in their fervid pursuit and striving – they never found Him! Check out a surprising vision that helps see who He really is. Jesus wants to be known but religion, Old Testament misunderstanding, and focus on obedience can cloud our vision of discovering the Real Deal! It’s like Jesus saying, “Have I got a deal for you! It’s bigger and better than your mind can grasp! Best of all it’s free!”
#22 Holy means other than, nothing like it! Have you ever considered that reading the Old Testament can mess you up when it comes to knowing Jesus “The Holy One”, let alone knowing God? You just might be surprised how the Old Testament skews your understanding of the New Testament, the New Covenant. If holy God is kind of scary to you, this might be a sign that an Old Covenant filter is short circuiting your understanding of the really really Good News. The Old Testament points to Jesus, but it can be an adventure to find Him there!
21 God is holy. Does that make you want to keep your distance, fear Him, or draw close? Man’s definition of holy is different than the Biblical meaning of holy. The true meaning of holy totally changes the way God is understood! In fact, understanding holy changes the way you see yourself because holy is directly connected to how God sees you. Two dreams are included that help show truths about holy.
20 Scars are part of our stories. Most have at least one. Jesus has five scars and they are eternally significant. Jesus surprised the living daylights out of His disciples when He suddenly showed up. They were hiding in a locked room which would have added to their shock. No wonder the first word He said, was “Peace…”. Do you know the Greek meaning of that word ‘peace’? It’significant – for all humanity. What happened to the disciples after they saw Jesus’s scars. Was there any condemnation or guilt happening with the revealing of Jesus’ scars? Why wasn’t Thomas with the disciples? How did Jesus respond to Thomas’ ‘I will not believe unless…”? We really need to thank the Lord for Thomas!
19 Quick Deep Point plus! How do taint and scars fit into understanding hell, religion and the Gospel? Jesus became sin and He took away the sin of the world. Does that mean Jesus was tainted? What is the sin Jesus took away. Why does religious Christianity have hell as part of their good news? What is the mystery of the Good News? What do Jesus's scar prove eternally? Who is eternally included in His scars?
18 Quick Deep Point. Listen for five minutes to find out why we think God is angry. Is there something good about His wrath? Gosh, religious tradition shows wrath as a scary dynamic of God. But how does that fit in with His passionate “I have loved you with everlasting love.”? Have you ever thought of God's love as being strong? Invincible? How about hell - can it stop God's crazy love from still loving those who reject His undying acceptance of them?
17 Have you ever had a vision? Be open to them, because God loves to speak to us in many ways. Whenever God shows us something, even long ago, it can have relevance NOW. Twenty plus years ago I had a vision an old Pickup truck, a Viking ship, and an open Bible! Now, after several decades I understand even more what God was trying to tell me. He just knew I wasn’t ready to understand it all way back then. Listen in to see why these three things give a clearer picture of the crazy good easy pure Gospel!
16 Quick Deep Point in five minutes! Scripture says God is faithful and His faith is a gift. How generous is God? Could God be too generous? Ephesians 1:7,8 says, He lavished redemption and forgiveness on us. Do those in hell lose that? If God changes not, how does this work? Do some go to hell because of what they did? Then, how does what Jesus did fit in? What really are the flames of fire and torment we associate with hell?
15 Quick Deep Point. Where is faith? Who has faith? How do you get faith?What is the meaning of faith? What does it mean to be faithless? What does God think about us if we have no faith? If someone is faithless, do they go to hell? Can Jesus be in you and you are still faithless? Jesus is the expert at faith!
14 Heads up - this is a QDP Episode! ‘Quick Deep Point’. Jump into five minutes of deep. This QDP fits in to the topic of Hell in the previous episode, #13. 2Tim 2:12 says, “if we deny God, He will deny us”. What does ‘deny’ really mean? Some think if you deny God you go to hell. Is that true? Does this verse even have anything to do with hell?! In truth, God has to ‘deny’ sometimes. On top of this, we can be faithless, yet He remains faithful and it’s for our benefit. What a crazy good God!
13 Have you ever heard that “Hell is separation from God.” Is that true? Does that statement line up with scripture. Does it fit with who Jesus is, what happened to Him, and Jesus’s statement “It is finished.”? If God sent His Son to save the world and not condemn it, then why is there a hell? Are some people stuck in hell? How does God’s unconditional love fit with a hell? Hmm, interesting questions! Jump in for eye opening answers.
12 Three powerful dynamics of Jesus coming to earth - make the unseen God known and seeable, show the inclusion of all mankind, and become rejection magnified. The visibility of God in Jesus dispels the distant God mindset. Jesus, known as a friend of sinners demonstrates God’s open arms to humanity. Jesus took on all rejection that men are hurt by, absorbed man’s rejection of God, and exposed man’s delusion that God was their enemy. Amazing good news! Be happy!
11 Jesus made a surprising statement to Nicodemus about being here and there at the same time. In our natural minds that is impossible! Scripture says, with God all things are possible. That must mean He’s really good at doing 'impossibles'. Have you ever considered the 'impossibles' in the Incarnation? When we hear them, once again, we just might be like Nicodemus – “How can this be?!” Get ready to be wowed at what happened when Jesus came down.
10 Nicodemus said he knew who Jesus was by the signs. But, Nicodemus did not know as much as he thought, because Jesus then told Nicodemus stunning dynamics about his and everyone’s true origin and what that enables. Would we be like Nicodemus and balk at what Jesus was saying about all must be born again? Be amazed, just like Nicodemus. Surely, it can’t be that easy. Then there's Jesus's statement 'I am here and there.' My goodness what does that mean?!
#09 Why would Nicodemus want to see Jesus by night? How does that relate to who we are? Would you come to Jesus by night? It really can be an amazing encounter in the dark! Jesus used that darkness to share a profound truth to Nicodemus - which actually affects all mankind. It is crazy good!
08 Jesus became flesh, does that mean Jesus became a human being? Nope. It’s much bigger than that. To know what flesh really means, we might think – “Why would He even want to do that?!” Jesus becoming flesh, in its fullness, shows how much He enjoys us, cares about us, and wants us whole. Jesus’s ‘fleshness’ glaringly exposes the traditional religious distance of God and separation with man. In addition, the light shining in the darkness and Jesus becoming flesh shows how crazy in love God is with the whole wide world!
07 Who made everything? By knowing the Who, it sets up a different understanding of God and your connection to Him. In fact, the One who made all things likes to shine in the most unexpected places. What does it really mean that the Light shines in the darkness? That can’t be! But, since He made everything, who are we to say – ‘Well, You can’t possibly be there – shining!’ If we truly grasped the profound wonder of His invasive light wherever, we would indeed think God is crazy. For some they would truly feel safe and loved. However, many would NOT think God is crazy GOOD by shining in the darkness.
06 What was happening in the beginning of all things? John 1:1 states “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” So how close was God to Himself? Sadly, religious tradition has this hang up about a distant God and that we must do something to get back to Him. But, according to John, the disciple who really knew Jesus, God is extremely close to Himself. Huh? Then, what to do with the ‘God is faraway’ mindset? Hey, do you know laughing, joking, playing, and smiling were happening during creation!? That sure doesn’t sound like distance going on. Listen and be wowed!
05 Many of us were told or we heard, God is distant because man sinned so man must do something to get back to God. Is God distant to you? If you had to describe God’s DISTANCE, what would you say? Is the distance dependent on life choices good or bad, beliefs, church attendance, Bible reading, good deeds? Perhaps you believe God is only distant from certain people because of what they did or do? How about, WHERE is God? Does distance and whereabouts have anything to do with sin? What do sin and repentance really mean in the Greek? Get ready for a surprise in their meanings! In truth God is all about extreme closeness and we have nothing to do with making Him close. He seems distant because we really don't understand who God really is! If you wrestle with sin, worry, guilt, fear, condemnation, or are deluded about where God is really, then listen in. He’s bigger, better, and closer than we’ve been told!
04 In 2004 God revealed the IT! As a reminder, in 2001 He spoke to me at a Prayer meeting, “You don’t get it.” - listen to Episode #03. Of course, I had no idea what IT was in 2001. But, with that word, I just felt God was sad. Then, three years, 2004, later God chose to explain the IT in a Word dream plus a surprising Vision in the dream! The IT was about relationship and closeness and an image to illustrate it! Of course, my religious processing kicked in and I thought I knew what He was saying. How easily we fall back into our familiar ways with God, not realizing how small we have made Him. Ten years later, 2014, I was in for a shock with starting to understand how He connects with all of us. His relationship and its reality are totally different from what Christian tradition has taught us! Episode #04 is a game changer if you are open to bigger, better, and wow!
03 When we don’t get something it can be frustrating. Is it time to give up, get angry, press in to find out, or realize you’re just not ready to get it. When God told me “You don’t get it.”, several things came with that happening. Wanting to cry before I heard Him say that, and I had no reason to feel like crying. Then, after He spoke those words there was a sense that He was sad for me and others. Upon sharing that happening no one else understood those words either. Would you believe it took over ten years before He began to show me what I didn’t get! So don’t lose faith, don’t give up, just wait – God’s timing is always perfect and it will be good. Will we ever totally get it? Nope. There will always be too much to get!
#01 explains the who, why, what of Crazy Good God Podcast. The point is about discovering who God really is which ultimately means discovering how awesome and significant you are - always has been, are, and always will be. Are you disillusioned with life, with the System? Do you work really hard to please God or think you need to please Him? How often are you told you SHOULD DO this or that - so you march in step? Maybe you've had enough of all that, been disillusioned and moved on only to find emptiness still resides.
