Isaac Hilpp is a State 4-H Specialist who is originally from Eastern Kentucky and started his extension career in Perry County as a program assistant and then as a 4-H Youth Development in Estill County. He has a background in Child and Family Development, Ag Education, and Social Justice Leadership. In his free time, he is a Beekeeper, cat dad, and runs a small orchard.
He joins beyond to share research findings surrounding LGBTQ* alumni participants of the Kentucky 4-H Program, and implications it has on cultivating better community for youth in present day and the future.
This episode features Nicole Breazeale, associate professor in the Department of Community and Leadership Development, sharing how she’s transformed instructional spaces and engaged in community development through story telling for social change.
