Dawn Mabery Chestnut

The Boss Lady Financials podcast discusses money matters important to solo entrepreneurs. Focus on Woman Solo Entrepreneurs – There’s a lot I can share from my combined experiences as a financial advisor and 10+ years as a small business owner. Experience in a Great Teacher - I share what’s worked and what hasn’t in hopes of preventing fellow entrepreneurs from making the same financial mistakes. Grounded in Financial Education – I began my journey in finance as an educator and education remains at the center of my work. If you want the perspective of a financial professional who's been in the entrepreneur trenches for over a decade, stick around and keep listening.https://www.maberyconsulting.com/about.html

This 4th of July, we're celebrating our financial independence from debt.

Like many of you, my husband and I are achieving some of our long-held financial goals too.  We made the last payment on our mortgage.  I don't know if it's possible to be any more relieved.  Getting to this point, was a windy and bumpy road filled with setbacks, sacrifice, and many get-back-on-track-talks. Here are some tips on how we reach our goal of being mortgage-debt-free.

See the link to my blog here where I share what to expect after you pay off your mortgage: https://www.maberyconsulting.com/blog/mortgage-paid-in-full-what-to-expect-next

Dawn Mabery Chestnut is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™

Financial advice can be intimidating and complex, but I’m not your average financial advisor. I strive to make managing money simpler by speaking plainly (no jargon!) and offering genuine help instead of hard sales tactics. I prefer a more informal approach – without the stuffy suit.

I’m here to provide honest, objective, and judgment-free advice for your money questions (big or small). No question is too embarrassing for me – I’ve made my share of money missteps too.

As a fiduciary, I’m committed to putting your needs first. With your commitment, follow-through, and patience, I can help guide you through the confusing world of money so that you can make informed decisions in reaching your idea of success.

Here's a quick intro of who Dawn Mabery Chestnut is and why you should listen.

The Boss Lady Financials podcast discusses money matters important to solo entrepreneurs. Money has too great an impact on our lives to go left unmanaged. Business owners have the dual responsibility of properly managing both their personal and business financial resources to effectively accumulate, protect, and distribute wealth according to family goals.
