We communicate and send messages to our children all the time. Behind every message, there is a secret hidden message. These secret, hidden messages are called “meta messages,” and these are the messages that transcend the literal message you are sending to your child. Meta messages are powerful and can cut us to the core or make our hearts sing. Listen as we discuss the impact of these secret messages and how to make sure we're sending the right ones.

Anti Reactive Parenting Challenge: Identify some of the meta messages communicated in the world around you. Pick one meta message you want to communicate to your child and work hard to ensure this message shines through your words and your actions.
