kiʔsuk yukyit qapi niskiⱡ--Greetings everyone. I am Michele, I am Ktunaxa, an Indigenous person from what is now known as the Kootenay region of British Columbia Canada. I am one of thousands of Indigenous Peoples' who in childhood were part of "the 60s scoop" and I came home to my peoples, landscapes and waterways. This podcast is an emerging series of stories, experiences, observations and at times, exasperations. My intention is to share thinking, influence peoples' thinking in general in hopes that if we do differently, we can be the change we are waiting for, according to Indigenous Peoples place based knowledges. I also have been asked after workshops for more content, and I have opted for podcasts over books and social media for now.
