The dangerous doctrines of false churches have been around for quite some time, and we are not surprised by this taking place. The Christian Church has always been under attack, and Satan loves to attack the Church by changing the Church into something false or false teaching.
Episode 32 will discuss how Satan uses false doctrine to attack and change the truth of the false Church into a lie. The dangerous principles from the false churches are essential for believers to recognize to guard themselves in the world that we walk in.

Strong Christians need to be awakened. For far too long, we have been asleep at the wheel regarding issues believers face in society. Modern society works hard to change Christianity radically.
Merriam-Webster added the word "Woke" to its dictionary in 2017, defining it as "aware of and actively attentive to important facts and issues (especially issues of racial and social justice)." This new term puts a target on the back of believers and venom in the veins of those who want to cancel their beliefs. Episode 31 will discuss why strong Christians need to be awakened, not woke.

The Church is more than just a physical building. As a matter of fact, many in today's society do not understand what the "church" really is. The Church is not a place to sing songs, hear someone preach, or even go to Sunday School, and the Church is a hospital for sinners.
Episode 29 will make a defense of why the "church" needs to be understood to make it effective in the world that we try to convert. The spiritual Church is not a building, and it's not a place where hurt takes place, as many may think. It belongs to Jesus. It heals wounds, mends broken hearts, and has the most incredible doctor the world has ever seen, the great physician.

Sometimes throw stones, sometimes don't. Not a popular point of view in Christian discussion in today's society, but that's the topic for this podcast episode. As Christians, we are often reminded of the phrase, "he who cast the first stone." No doubt this applies to the testimony we carry to the world.
However, sometimes throwing stones is something we should do. We are not always called to be passive. Episode 28 will use the examples of a shepherd boy named David, who threw stones, and Jesus, who gave a command not to. Both instances were applicable for the event taking place.

Reverent is a word that most do not take much stock in any longer in today's society, and the world has lost respect for the foundational societal etiquette for daily living. However, The Bible calls all believers to be reverent.
The Bible is full of examples of how we are to be respectful to God and Family. For this reason, I have chosen reverence as being one of the 7 Ironclad Christian Characteristics. Episode 26 provides evidence why Christians should be reverent in today's society towards God and Family.

Strength is a word that most in the world do not think applies to Christians. The world wants all believers to be weak and submissive to everything they want to put forth. However, The Bible calls all believers to be strong. We should no longer think we should bend to every whelm the world throws at us.
The Bible is full of examples of how we are to be strong in faith and practice. For this reason, I have chosen strength as being one of the 7 Ironclad Christian Characteristics. Episode 25 provides evidence why Christians should show strength in our belief in Biblical principles and faith in Jesus.

Servant is a word that we typically think of in a negative way. In the book of Luke, Jesus taught, "No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon."
The Bible is full of examples of how that we are to serve God. For this reason, I have chosen servant as being one of the 7 Ironclad Christian Characteristics. Episode 24 will discuss how we are to serve as Christians and give examples both from Old and New Testament examples.

Repentance is essential for the person who calls themselves a Christian. One of the most evident elements of Biblical salvation is repentance. Many today in Christian circles do not see the need to call for people to repent. Episode 23 will discuss why we as believers must have repentance in our lives each day and how it is essential to growing closer to Christ.
The absence of teaching repentance is not a new concept to our society. The warfare on this teaching began in America before the 1950s. Knowing this, if we truly follow the Ironclad Christian Characteristics, we must have a repentant heart. A believer unwilling to have repentance in their life will not be fulfilling the responsibility to let Christ increase and ourselves decrease.

Love is possibly one of the most overused words in our language each day. We use the same word in the phrase “I love cheeseburgers” with the same word we say “I love you” to a person. Episode 22 will discuss love as one of the 7 Ironclad Christian Characteristics. Let us first begin by understanding that the Bible is written in two languages, Hebrew and Greek. Love usage in these two languages varies and has multiple words for the one word we use each day.
The Bible is clear that our lives should be characterized by the spirit giving fruit of love. If we are going to reach the world and tell them about who Jesus Christ is, we must let the lost see this spirit in us. Paul, the apostle, usually dictated to someone to write his letters, and 1 Corinthians 13 is written in a much different rhythm. Let us look at 1 Corinthians 13 to understand better how we are to love as Christians.

Humility is defined as having freedom from pride and arrogance. Humbleness is one of the hardest Christian characteristics for some believers to work with. At times we all find ourselves wanting to be humble, but we cannot let go of something that we have pride in. Episode 21 will discuss humility as one of the 7 Ironclad Christian Characteristics. We will do so by studying 2nd Corinthians chapter 12, and the writings of Paul. It is worth stating that the more humble you are the more powerful you are. We see this not only in Paul but more importantly in Christ. Jesus was a humble sacrifice that gives us all eternal life.
This chapter of Corinthians may seem like the lowest point of Paul’s ministry. If we take a closer look we can see that Paul is giving all believers an example of Humility. Humility is one of the hardest for many believers to recognize in themselves. The acts of submission that Paul encounters may be similar to what you are encountering each day in your life right now. Because of this, humility is also one of the hardest traits for us to recognize that we need as we bear our cross each day.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. The writer of Hebrews gave all believers a glimpse of what faith was meant to be to all believers. Faith is what gets us through each day but also plays a part in our eternity.
Episode 19 will be the beginning of a seven-part series where the podcast will be focused on the characteristics that Christians should shine as a light to the world. These are “ironclad” because they should make all believers in Christ so firm or secure as to be unbreakable. God is at work in the storm, even though we may not think so from time to time. Jesus reminds us all of this in John 5:17. Jesus reminds us of his Fathers and his work in our lives in John 5:17. If you are facing the storms of life, and you wonder where God is, don’t fret. He may be right there working in your life, as he did in Jonah’s life. Just watch out for a great fish!
We as people will sometime think of storms as being something bad that takes place in the world. While we look at storms as being bad, and sometimes they are, God may be at work in you during the storm. This may be his way of changing our course. It can also be God’s way of waking us up to what we have taking place in our life. God is at work in Jonah’s life with a storm, and as Thurston would say, “this is gonna be good.”

Jonah list the absolute attributes of God. Those include merciful, slow to anger, of great kindness, and just. The life of Jonah part 3 will discuss why Jonah learns of God's forgiveness. We begin this podcast by reading Jonah 4:2. In this verse, we learn of the attributes that Jonah knows of God.
Micah 7:19 states, "He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities, and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea." If you have ever heard the phrase, He cast your sin into the sea of forgetfulness, this is the origins of that verse. The Bible is clear that we all have sinned, except one person. That person is Jesus Christ.

Jonah becomes agitated and angry when God forgives the people of Nineveh. The life of Jonah part 2 will discuss why Jonah was wrong in his thinking towards the people. of Nineveh. We begin this podcast by reading Jonah 4:1-2. In these two verses, we see that Jonah becomes mad after he had visited the people of Nineveh.
This great revival is taking place, and we learn the preacher hates the congregation. Jonah did not like his congregation. Jonah then states that he knew God was slow to anger when he did not do what he was supposed to. Jonah wanted to see destruction come to the people of Nineveh. The Syrians were very cruel people, and Jonah knew this.
If they had repented, God is true to forgive them. This leads to Jonah becoming angry and agitated. Jonah makes this clear in chapter four. This is much different from the Jonah that we discuss in the first podcast on Jonah that we covered in this series (click here to listen now!). So how does this apply to our Christian walk?
