In the text this week we see Mary act in faith and devotion to Jesus, and in contrast, we see the selfishness of Judas. Pastor Tanner challenges us to reflect on our lives and consider whether we live with hearts full of gratitude for what Jesus has done for us.
Guest pastor Dawson Tolley guides us through the text and shows us that not only do we see the plot to kill Jesus, but the text also serves as a window into our hearts. We can fall into the same compromises and calculations when it comes to following Jesus, just as the religious leaders who sent Jesus to the cross.
