The biggest lie we’ve learned to tell ourselves is that “everything happens for a reason”. As if it were of consolation to know that tragedy is part of a masterplan to then turn it into something good. But, you don’t have to continue to believe that. Because the truth is, everything does NOT happen for a reason.

When we experience anxiety, we often think that nobody can understand what we are feeling. This can sometimes drive us away from our relationship with God. We feel embarrassed for feeling worried and having doubts, but Jesus understands. He knows what you’re feeling because He experienced anxiety as well.

Just as the title says it, pain is inevitable. Hardships are the only certain thing in life. We know that at some point we will be faced with a difficulty that will put our inner strength to the test. But that does not mean that we have to suffer through it. Suffering is a state of mind, it does not have to be part of your pain.
In times when life gets rough and we feel stressed out, it’s easy to overlook the resources that we have at hand. But, through the things that we call “scarcity”, God has already provided for your needs. It’s a matter of shifting your mindset to see the enoughness throughout scarcity.
When life gets tough, it is common for us to feel afraid and have doubts. But, fears and doubts are learned through past life experiences. This means that whatever you fear today, did not actually start today. This is important to know because your fears might be telling you that there are parts of you that are still wounded and bleeding. You might be living in fear as you see the world through your wounds.

Did you know that circumstances do not cause anxiety? In fact, nothing outside of ourselves has the power to make us feel anxious. Yes, I know this is confusing because we are taught to blame circumstances for how we feel. But the reality is that our feelings - and our anxiety, is the result of our own anticipation about the circumstances.
When anxiety shows up, sometimes it’s hard to just shake it off. That’s because rather than addressing it, you might be just trying to sweep it under the rug. This is why it’s important to understand the cycle of anxiety. That way you can interrupt it and release it.
As we navigate rough times, it’s important to be aware of how anxiety shows up in our body. Anxiety shows up differently in everyone. There are many symptoms that we often don’t pay attention to but are pointing us to be aware of anxiety in our body. Learn how anxiety impacts people physically, mentally and in your relationships.
